When you open the circle part you will get the oil filter. This link will help for understanding Oil Filter in some manner

It should have been changed , if not done grab them. It is less than 100INR

3rd servicing is due in a couple of days. I'm thinking of trying Motul mineral this time. Is Motul stuff better than AX5?
TVS never say YES to other oil other than TRU4. Yes you can buy the filter from SVC and get it changed from mechanic. Change the filter whenever you change Oil Brand, Oil grade and whenever the manual asks you too.
I don't have much knowledge about oils, others might help

The OIL filter does exactly what the name suggests. It is located on the right hand side of the engine, in a circular shaped compartment, protected by 3 nuts. Yeah you're supposed to change it every time you change the oil.
And Motul SS 5100 Is certainly better than AX5.
And since you're done with your 3rd service I guess you CAN switch to SS or FS now.
Sure.. Go ahead. I'll be lookin back in a few seconds.

Only if you're lucky like anything to be able to get it in 10w40 The 15w50 feels "a bit" sluggish.

          BTW, welcome saale

A BIT as you rightly said.. But, the difference is BARELY noticeable! I need to try 10w40 next time!

Got it, thanks for the pic!
I'm pretty sure that the oil filter was never changed. The SVC sucks. I'm gonna try a different SVC this time.

I don't think it's a wise decision to switch to SS or FS oil at this point. My bike has done just 2110 km in 6 months.

                  Ye to mera bhai hai

Though you can switch to SS @ around 3000kms. if you want to, but to be on a safer side, run on mineral oil till you complete 5K kms.

EDIT: The oil filter comes for only 33 INR. No point of NOT changing it with every oil change.

Ya, I'll just stick with Mineral oil for now.

Well, the people working @ this particular SVC are some of the laziest people in the world. For them, servicing means only washing the vehicle and lubricating the chain.
I'm gonna change the SVC this time and I'm writing an Email to TVS honchos as well. Let's see.

I really dont see the point of sticking to Mineral Oil even after 3K kms and 3rd servicing.. But then again, if you're hardly Riding the bike then I guess it doesn't make much of a difference.

                        super congrats!

check if your tuning was made rich inadvertently by SVC.

on a lighter note, why worry for a 3km decrease in mileage? for petrol @Rs.70/ltr it will be an increase of 15Paise per Km!
Im worried for the decrease coz my real aim was to get a mileage of above 45!!!
When I Ride my bike I don't feel like a common man.
                        I feel special.
I feel something which is beyond words.
That is the thing which makes my bike special, me special, the whole ride seem exceptional .

                          2) My daily riding would be of total 40kms which includes traffic and also highway. Mix of both.- no worry Apache can perform in both city and on highway don't worry

                          3) Is the ABS a Combined ABS ?-its an independent ABS there is a switch above the bikes console to tune off or on the ABS.but by default the ABS is always on

                          4) Any engine heating issue ?-no if everything is tuned good there is no sign of overheating

But After my second service it dipped!!! Now my normal mileage is 38!!! When I asked the SVC guy and he kinda escaped from the question saying it happens all the time and nothing can be done!!! Is it possible that mileage drops after service? that too after first service to second service? In normal cases I have heard that it only increases !!!
if i remember correctly, then my rtr's mileage also decreased after 2nd service but increased after 3rd and is going great. Maybe, they do something wrong in 2nd service

Do check if the paint is top-notch and not rusted especially near the tank. I've seen few rtr having rust near the tank end. Also check it's seat as many abs owners are crying about it. Finally check the odo
