For now , let svc fill what they want.

Guys, here every shop has castrol and servo only so i coudn't find motul, shell anywhere. I found gulf pride 4t but it's 900 ml and was Rs.230. I also found castrol power1 15w40 which was Rs.300 and the shop seemed nice n clean. I told the shopkeeper that there are so many fakes of castrol so i don't want to buy it. He showed me certificate of delearship of castrol and said that he only keeps castrol oils.
So, should i believe him and buy the castrol power1 or not?
Gulf Pride 4T is a very good oil, get two bottles and use it to fill 100ml and top ups.

For the bold part, Cluch plates could be problem because symptoms are of that but I think your chain maybe loose because I was feeling same yesterday so I got it checked from SVC and the mechanic said that chain was loose and he added some kind of oil and also adjusted it and the bike felt great later while accelerating. Get it checked for same from SVC.
Got the work done by svc,he just adjusted the two nuts circled red in the picture.Do you know what those nuts are for??Gear changes seem ok for now and he tightened the chain and it does feel quite good now as if the RTR got its power back and thanx for the suggestion about the engine oil

i think you should believe him because other than original dealer who will show you the certificate or find another shop where you can get the other brands

i guess these nuts and the rod which helps in changing gears if nuts will be loose then u will have problems in gear shifting as you were facing earlier and its gr8 your RTR got your power back

+1 that's what i think. But these made gear shifts smoother?

              • My rtr abs seats have torn at the rear and come off. The bike is still in warranty, so can i get it replaced. ??

Surprised about the poor quality of the seat cover. Do all the rtr seat covers are held in place by stapler pin like hooks ??

Haha, maybe they deleted it because it seemed to be an examply of rash riding on city roads

But then howcome the comments also got deleted?

That would depend how one defines the term 'rash' riding!!

Which one would you prefer to call rash riding? Passing through between an innova and a truck @ 40km/hr or ripping through a poor Indian highway(speed limit @ 80km/hr) @ 300km/hr? I think the person who has reported didnt notice that the video still exists(like many others) here in xBhp which doesnt send a right signal too!!

                      • How much air pressure does your bike run on? I keep it at 25(front), 28(rear). Anything above leads to skidding for me.

Air pressure is 25 Front and 30 Rear.30 Rear because i ride with a pillion sometimes and the recommended air pressure by company is 32 with pillion and 28 Solo. Didnt get the Skidding part? by the way i got 47kms per litre this time but i was ripping the bike a few times and avg speed of 70kms otherwise.

                        • Hello guys im facing a peculiar problem. My RTR was facing a problem where the bike would come in Reserve but i wouldn't realize it as there would be no hiccups, but as i would come to a stand still the engine would shut down,at this point if you give a little accelerator and hit the starter switch the bike will start again.I have even changed the fuel cock in warranty but the issue still remains.

True.... infact even safe riding can be argued too if we look at the roads we have and the road sense that exists .A person's safety is some what in his hands when he is on the road and he decide whats safe for him.
