Kick their rear so hard that they can't even bend down to fill the oil. There is nothing as such, mark a mail and discuss the issue.Originally posted by iChaitanya View PostFare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Nops, dude. We switched to MRFs for rear @ around 17k and the front@arnd 20K.The only reason for the switch was a wee bit better wet grip.Originally posted by sambit View Postdude... 35k kms with that tire
?? awesum.I am scared, seeing its condition and you are riding it at that speed (referring to your recent Video)
!! Seems like i have been missing some basic riding skills, thats why almost crashed twice(in rain ofcourse) within 25k kms after which I eventualy changed the tire.
Will be sticking to the MRFs only unless there are better options for that particular size in the market.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Post@Chicane : I still remember when you first changed the original tyres with MRF's dazzler one and got the rims painted golden. Looks like you have been riding quite a lot since then. The tyre is totally bald. Would you be going again for MRF?

Attention TVS customers,
This is to inform you that our so called Tru4 engine oil alongwith Tru4 premium engine oils are undergoing name changes due to excessive popularity. These will be known as TruCrap and TruCrap premium, respectively, from now on.
WARNING: Those using old names are liable for criminal penalties and their driving license will be suspended.

Easy bro..Originally posted by Abhii46 View PostAnd I wish there was a dislike button. The oil is not bad, as you guys are projecting it to be.
That's just for some fun and FYI i am still using tru4 (because i'm forced to).
for the bold part: It's not bad but it's not good either. See, if given a choice, almost everyone will choose any other oil than using tru4. Simply put, there are better oils like motul, shell, gulf which also result in lesser vibs. , so we are saying tru4 as crap because it's not meant for a high performance bike like rtr. Moreover these SVC guys force us to use this stuff which is the reason for my post. If i want to use shell then let me do it, it's my bike.
Similarly, tvs tyres can be considered the same way. We are using it because we're forced to. If they wear out then most of us will NOT go for tvs tyres again.

C'mon bro, nobody can force you to use what you dont want. If you dont want to use TVS oil dont use it. Just FYI, I have used Shell Semi Synthetic, cost 330(approx), it is a very good oil. Smoother ride , no vibs for atleast 1500kms. I have also used Shell AX3(mineral) oil, price 230(approx), which is almost same as that of TVS oil. Vibes started coming at 500kms and ride quality is not as good as it was with Shell AX7. So I really dont see why TVS oil becomes crap here or maybe we can call Shell AX3 as Shell Crap3( which I really dont want, because I dont expect its performance to be as good as that of AX7). Same goes for the tires. They just cost around 3k a pair. If you dont want to use them just change it.
Let me tell you, when I realised that it is not the problem with tires but with my riding I improved my riding, and now I'm pretty confident with the tires. After going for 30k kms with stock tires I again got TVS tyre.
P.S. When I give my bike for servicing I get a Shell oil (if I want) from the Shell petrolpump and asked SVC guys to not to change the oil. While I go back there to take my bike after servicing has been done I ask them to change the oil now.
I have used TVS oil for almost 25k kms and never complained. Not even my friends who dont use "Xbhp". They are also fine with the oil. And if one wants a better performance then one has to shell out more money.Last edited by Abhii46; 03-01-2012, 02:23 AM.

I agree with tyres part but as far as the oil is concerned luckily I've never faced any problems even on hard ripping/90-100 kph for almost all day.Originally posted by cs1183 View PostEasy bro..

+1 to Abhii.
Tru4 is good for it's price. If we want, let the SVC change the oil and we can replace it outside. You'll lose 230Rs but will get the oil you want. If TVS had opted a high-quality, pricey oil as a std, then guess we'll yell that it's too costly!
Every manufacturer insists on a particular make/grade oil. That's fine till warranty period as if a problem arises, mfg. can be sure it's not due to the oil in use.Grip. Twist. Ride-with Menacingly FAST Apache 180 ABS!

I second your opinion, mate! Even I was a little skeptical about their performance when compared with MRF. But, after riding 15,500kms, I almost know the limits of adhesion of the stock tyres. Now, to shift to MRF and start riding, one 'd take a little while to get used to them. Apache's behaviour is synchronised with what the rider does. If you think you can, you 'd find the grip even if you enter the corner hot.Originally posted by Abhii46 View PostLet me tell you, when I realised that it is not the problem with tires but with my riding I improved my riding, and now I'm pretty confident with the tires. If you panic and grab the brake lever hard, you 'll kiss the tarmac mostly likely. Riding an Apache at higher speeds is like riding a GP bike. You don't ride, you tame!
