    Ownership feedback & Query:Starter One-way clutch Removal!!!!

    Hey guys,

    its about 2 years 3 months of proud ownership of 'menace'.

    Using Castrol Power1 15w40 oil.(16000km done).Good oil at Rs.310 in Pune
    (before i used Petronas Sprinta 5000 10w40 total 3 times)

    RTR's unique characterstics
    • Grunt (acceleration 3.5k to 8k rpm)
    • Handling (turning and braking)


    Engine really adjusts according to your riding style, i am more happy each day as i spent with her.

    Coming to the point:
    My starter relay got down, so starter is not working.

    I am used-to the kicking now, so had a thought, can i remove starter One-way clutch? (so that my ride is more free.)

    Please give advice on advantages and disadvantages of doing such change.

      I would say that the Rusabh TVS near ramwadi is good too. Atleast they listen and rectify a bit of our issues.

              Almost completed 30000 kms.
              Going for my last paid servicing tomorrow....
              No issues exists with it,but still a little bit concerned as warranty period would be over and the bike would be totally upto my own .....
              Took it for a ride to this wonderful location...... really enjoyed ripping it all alone on these beautiful hill roads.....
              U enjoy the pics.....hehe...

                  Don't be concerned about the bike, trust it fully. My only concern w.r.t warranty was that I wanted to complete 30000kms before 2 years , but missed by almost 150kms.

                  Pic 3 looks like a track. Which place is this?

                          2nd service should be done @2500km or 3 months of purchase right ??
                          but the problem is that the due date is tomorrow and my bike has clocked only 16xxkm
                          Is there any way i can postpone the service ??

                            Its the date that counts if you miss the date you will have to go for third service and may cause warranty problems.Service as per days not kms to maintain warranty

                              EDIT: OT - Went to xBhp office today for some work. It was sad to find none except Abhinai. The main reason of me accompanying my friend was that I wanted and was expecting to meet Sunny and/or the rest of the team members there but, to my bad, I didn't found anyone there. Sad experience for me.
                              Anyways, the main motive of (collectively of me and my friend ) going there was completely achieved
