HX250R : A bike that was once showcased and which was to be built with the help of EBR, which is now closes, you are suggesting it!!!!

The new Ninja250 is single cylinder unlike a parallel twin which gives it renowned smoothness and that tempting stoxk exhaust sound. Plus I still havent seen any one on road yet, suggesting again a bike that on papers?
    My Bad though.

HX 250R - Please read the news.EBR is Back and Hero is working on this Bike.

We all know Ninja 250 is one of the Best 250cc around.

If speculating is the point then why not the TVS BMW bike. Point is that, there is no use discussing bikes that are not in the market....

Prateek is right. No point in discussing bikes which are not in the market.
Hyosung's are pathetic. I have ridden the 250. Apart from the twin cylinder & big bike feeling, There is nothing more to it.
Duke/rc 390 are the real catch now. I have ridden the duke extensively. My buddy owns it. Hell of a bike. Never ceases to amaze you. Theres the benelli 300 . Its twin & its beautiful . Its proper bike too. No mucking about. Read the ownership reports. Owners are enjoying it.
Yeah. I got the point benelli is out of ur budget. But still. No point in discussing the ninja 300. Ridiculous price. Save up & Wait for the R3. Only option. Or else stick to the desi's. But then u will do what we indians do best ( wait...wait &&& wait).

There is no rev limiter in the rtr and I don't think the svc can just put a rev limiter :P

Something to do with tuning of carb and/or air filter. Get them checked/cleaned

There is no rev limiter in the 180. Did you try going beyond 11k rpm while riding or throttling it neutral ??. Because in top gear usual you dont hit the rev limiter.

Yes. By the way you can seriously consider the r3. Save it up.

EBR is still not back in business, rather its is being auctioned on August 5th, and Hero is to buy all the projects that EBR was working for it.

Just to update some people here

                        • Apache rtr 160 silencer query

                          Hi Guys,

I have a query on my apache rtr 160. Today while cleaning my bike in the morning I saw hole in the silencer pipe. I started the bike and saw that water like droplets were falling from the silencer pipe when I was giving the throttle. Can you guys tell me if it is a problem with my bike? Or is it just normal during rainy season as I started my bike after a week today.
I am attaching the picture of the silencer.

its normal drain hole present in most of motorcycles to drain water in case of exhaust getting flooded. nothing to worry. even if few ml is left it will be steamed else let out once you start riding.

I was a little worried seeing water droplets coming out of the silencer hole as I have just completed my 1st service and after that I started my bike today after a week. But it was only coming out when I gave throttle. And the bike was stationary so no chances of water getting inside the silencer.

                              Thanks for the help

I have a 180, 2010 model, i am planning to change tyres now.
My previous owner had installed tube type tyres.
Can I fit tubeless?? The tyre guys are saying that its the old model and tubeless tyres dont go with it.
It is true ? The old model isn't compatible for tubeless??
                                And which tyre to buy.
                                Plz help guys
