    This is the best way.
I think he's super new to the geared world.

    Now i need some suggestions...

    1. do i need to install kn air filter for good speed and performance and mileage??
First the worst efficiency RTR 180 will deliever will be 25kmpl...
either your mixture is completely Fcuked or you calculated it just so wrong.

K&N makes no sense at all, it'll give you a crisp throttle response that too at higher RPm's that's it.

      • 8 out of 10 times i will travel only in highways and i think the back tyre does not have good road grip.. so ur suggestion is not to fix right? its mileage and performance will go down right?

Low mileage would be due to the incorrect Air-fuel ratio, low tire pressure, low quality fuel......

As u dont aware about this stuffs, pls check ur byk at svc and always fuel the byk from a trusted pump

It was a spelling mistake too, read that as CRISP throttle response meaning more lively, sudden RPm taking throttle response.

From which areas do you experience vibrations in your bike?

                        • Finally changed my tyres to the R15's MRF 80/90 17, 100/80 17 Zappers. It looks terrible esp at the rear, but the bike now handles like a dream. Full confidence even on wet slushy roads. Earlier I had to slow down for a few particular turns now I don't have to anymore. Steering is much faster, my 0 to 60 has improved by from 4.7 to 4.1, and top speed has improved from 129 to 136. But after a while these Zappers really heat up like anything. That squeaky thingy seems to have sorted by itself. I'm sure it was the wheel hub.

Ok so 21325kms done. Switched to iridiums at 20000kms, my vibes start from 54km to 68km then eases off. Getting about 52kms per liter, am using full synthetic from Valvoline. Wash once a week, and still looks new after a coat of polish. Even after riding several hundred kms continuously if I floor it the bike just comes alive. And the exhaust note is so much more sweeter than when it was new.

                            Noticed any difference in performance?

That's really good mileage. And at what speeds/type of riding do you get this mileage?

It'll provide diff in the "varying high RPM", on low RPM's one cannot notice the change but at higher RPMs, yes.

                              • Completed 100kms on my new bike! The rush of power is awesome.. Trying very hard to keep it under 50kmph.

I have a few problems though:
The gearbox is a bit tight! Rode my friend's classic apache and that was butter smooth. Is it just a matter of time mine becomes like that?

Finding neutral is hard when the engine is running. Is it by design? Should I hold the clutch, brakes and the engage the first gear when I am waiting at a red signal for a short period?

Had a small scratch near the place where the 'RTR 180' is written on the sides. How do I rectify it?

Also there seems to be some noise from the front. First I though it's the keychain hitting the console, but I doubt it is that.

Also, Would love to have the gear's position changed a tad bit higher. I read in the manual that this can be done.. Can we also get a heel shifter fit to the RTR?
