Mine does 54 to 55 at 4k rpm. The high speed handling is much better, earlier there was this particular stretch where I used to do 80+kmph and the road although smooth with my stock tires the rear used to wobble a bit. I don't get that wobble anymore now. I actually wanted to put a 120 rear, but I didn't want a performance drop. I'll post some pics of my bike with the new tires soon. Currently I'm waiting for my friend who wants to upgrade to a bigger bike, will be going for a 4 day ride with him. Went to the Suzuki dearlership today to check out a few rides. Here a pic Gladius 650, GSXR 600, Hayabusa 1300, B-King 1300, GSXF 650. Hope he buys the Gladius, so that I too can ride it

My bike only did 49-50 at 4k rpm in 5th gear when i was running with the zapper s at the rear.

And regarding the increase in speed, this is what one of the guys had to say in the tyres thread. Read post no. #2042.
You can only ride better tomorrow if you ride safe today.

      • I'm not sure about it, cause my bike showed the almost the same speed before the tire change. I put the Zapper S for rear cause I thought the reduction in size will give better top end cause of less weight, drag, etc. And yeah in a way it has, my bike never crossed 130kmph with the stock tires, it finally did with the smaller Zappers. I ride very softly and smoothly, and normally ride between 65 to 75.

          • I'm currently stationed in KTM Nepal. Funny thing, over here Indian bikes cost about two times more than what it retails for there. I paid 125000 INR for my RTR180 But the Japanese, Italian, European etc cost about the same as they do abroad. And no 800cc ban either

The roads and highways are damn awesome there unlike the NH and SH of our country.

                    • OT:

See what nepalies enjoy and see what INDIA gets from SUZUKI, two bikes tailor made for DOODHWAALA's and one 150.

                      GOOD going there SUZUKI.

Ok lets come back to the RTR180 business otherwise mods will ring the bells.

                      • Completed the 3rd free service. Had the carburettor cleaned. Finally the jerking at low rpm problem has gone. Feeling good about the smooth power delivery
But the speedo display is giving problems at times. It resetting itself at times on its own.

                        • The rubber buttons on the speedo are so hard that I even wondered if I have to remove it to operate it!!

Guys, is it possible to replace the part which has RTR 180 written, under the seat.. Mine has a horrible scratch on it now

Man, Everytime I look at Chicane's Display pic, my hear skips a beat.. Love the white colour!! May be some years later, I will change mine to white as well.. Does TVS do an official paint job? how much do they charge?

Yes, the buttons are hard to operate.

Why don't you paint the rear panel's scratched area!!

And first of all, you should have opted for the White RTR if you liked it so much.Painitng the whole bike will cost you more than 5k and no TVS SVCs wont do paint jobs. You will have to search for best paint shops where the work can be done in your city.

It's not even two weeks that you bought your bike....and now you love the colour which your bike doesnt sport...

if you like white so much why on earth you bought other colour when you had a choice of it???????

If it's the speeds then replace the speedo assembly immediately!!
