i mean there is something missing inside..
even if i lock it with my keys the cover is still missing...
Will there be a spare for it..
Show it to svc guys. They would be the best one to be able to get solution for this problem. If anything doesnt work out, then insist on replacing the whole lock-set/key under warranty!!

if you're gettin an avg of 35-40 kmpl with all kind of driving, it's pretty much good and satisfying for a 180cc 17 PS engine that shows you a 12000 at the tacho.
      Very True.

And that too for a bike which is carburetted and not fuel-injected.

Also, now both the filaments light up at the same time (which I suspect they shuffled the pins). i checked at the SVC, but they do not have stock of the headlamp cable set. I've ordered for one. Now coming to both filaments lighting up - if anyone has experience with the config of the connector pins can you give me some idea?

Lets say the connectors on the bulb are like below

I assume the center one is the common terminal??? to which one do the connect the black wire? left or right?

      help me plz....
Sorry, dude.I have absolutely no idea regarding this.Hope some of the xBhpians would help you out here. Also try to post the query in "Let there be light" thread. You might be able get some solution.

But in my case AFR is perfect..

What i am going to do today is fill in the tank with half a litre of petrol and then ride sanely(6-7k) in and around the town to check what's the mileage..

            I'll update you people soon!
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

            • How much is the speedo error on the RTR console?
And i feel the suspension is not really good on bad roads. Its really uncomfortable even compared to a pulsar, leave aside karizma and unicorn.
You can only ride better tomorrow if you ride safe today.

Speedo Error is very much present in the RTR but it's just as much as the R15 and the new lineup of Pulsars.

Yes, the suspension is not as good as compared to other bikes but still is an improvement over previous RTRs.And FYI, Pulsars have always been known for better ride quality. In fact, a P220 has better ride quality as compared to ZMA.

earlier according to BIKE INDIA,AUTOCAR and OVERDRIVE mags it was the PULSAR which sported the most accurate digital speedo on the INDIAN biking scene.

I couldnt agree more. My friend has a first lot P220FI and his speedo is damn accurate. I feel jealous when he brags about it

                      • No any speedometer can be called accurate. Reading given by it depends on tyre outside dia, air pressure, ect.
                        Few factors are as follows:
                        1. as tyre wears, speedo will show higher reading. 1 mm worn tyre will cover around 6 mm lesser distance in single rotation. in one km, 17" wheel running new 100/90 tyre covers around 520 rotations. which converts to approx 522 rotations on 1mm worn tyre. that gets converted to differance of around 0.6 % between new tyre and 1mm worn tyre. (all this is considering tyre pressure is same)
                        2. lower tyre pressure will result in higher reading
                        4. when suspensions make wheel bounce over road (which is always wavy), this also contribute to differance in reading.
                        5. On digital speedo bikes, the resistance of the cables also result in change in reading displayed.

In short, exact speed can be noted only by GPS, Speed Gun,ect.
There's lot to it other than saddle....
