That must be ride from assembly line to warehouse, warehouse to warehouse, and dealership. My RTR was showing 0.6kms hen i bought it.

The ride till now -
70 odd kms 2day..trd my best 2 keep it below 5k rpm and below 60kmph..really tgh 2 do that tho..

issues till now -
1.Gear shifting is really rough....especially downshifts...had more than 10 false gears till now...and had to really apply some force for downshifts...upshifts are ok compared 2 that...
RTR gearbox is notchy. after a couple of thousand kms and oil changes, it will be smoother. Till then and later also, try throttle bliping while downshift.

2.Braking not upto the mark...both front and the rear. Will be better in 500-600 kms.

3.a hint of rattling noise coming from lower part of the engine...have 2 figure out the exact location tho... Those must be Tappets, from top of engine. Welcome to RTR club.

4.top speed is displaying as 160

...GOD knows how??...and 0-60 timer is still 9.9

.....now i have a serious doubt if at all it is bng ripped b4 i owned it or not...??? Whenever you disconnect & reconnect Speedo assembly connector, most of the times Hi speed reading goes to 160.

i guess the 1st two issues will be sorted out after some running..wat say guys..and for the last two do give me ur feedback...

and regarding the disconnect & reconnect Speedo assembly connector, i havnt done that since i bght it from the showroom..b4 driving out of the showroom...it was showing 72kmph...and now its 160kmph....

and how do i reset the speedo...and change the clock settings??

I havent crossed 5-6k kms. Its only past 2000km.

Refer manual. Or if u do not have it, in odo mode, keep the lower button presed for few seconds and rest is just like digital clock.

i think the rtr 180 horn sounds one of the best among the indian bikes till date...why do u want 2 change it??

guys i cldnt reset the 0-60 timer...it is still showing 9.9 secs ! ! !...how do i do that..

one more issue is the centre stand hitting the speed breaker whn i ride wid a pillion..is is the same wid all of u guys??

and whn i turn on or off the key....it takes some time 2 react..i mean 2 on and off..as if it responds bit late...

9.9 secs is the default time whenever you will reset the timer it will be the same. And the center stand sometimes scraps when riding single forget double, it always does.
Yes, it takes sometime while switching the ignitions of or on for the meters to respond.

Changed my engine oil to Castrol Power 1. The engine has become more free revving and the gearbox has become really smooth. Went for a 170 km ride and didnt have a single false neutral after the oil change. But still the vibes are whats pissing me off.

even if you'll be putting the worlds most best and expensive oil in this engine you cant really be able to iron out the vibes completely this engine produces, courtsey the short stroke and high revving nature.

Yeah its true....its the work of the NVH(noise Vivration and harshness) team of the TVS racing engineering team that can do something abt it...may be some better and stronger mounting point of the engine can help it out....2 cut the vibration of the engine getting into the body..

i am sure they will be looking into it..and i hope the next 220 or so bike have this thing sorted out..

there's a bobbin below the exhaust.Try a smaller one.The one it comes with is quite thick.I did the same and it helps to an extent

it does take some time
