Got the RHS switch assembly replaced under warranty
The old one which came as stock was a little darker, whereas the newer switch assembly is lighter.

Had a chat with a guy who just got his new pearl white RTR 180. The bike sure is a looker
It has this big bike feel and a very aggressive stance. The air scoops and engine cowl looks great as is the new tail piece. Everything gels in nicely as ever, even better. The pilot lamps are day running too. They lit up when ignition is turned on.
P.S. The top speed recorded when he got the bike was 80km/hr. Courtesy the staff's GP ride to the RTO and back to the show room. When will these guy's change, i don't know
The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

Hey guys,
Could any one please explain the work flow in respect of de-carbonizing the head cylinder/piston? Like what is actually done... Is there a need to change the oil after this?
My RTR is 26 months old now and has run 15,423km. In the owners manual this work is recommended at 17500-18000km or 18 months which ever comes earliest.
Guy's, is it time for me to get this work done? I have a periodic service scheduled this 12th.The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

There is no Issue . . . the idle rpm changes based on the engine heat and surrounding temperature . . its normal nothing is wrongsigpic

Back to back posts are not allowed.
@Jude
Maybe your clutch play is not yet perfect... How many Kms is you bike? May be your clutch plates are wearing out. I'm dont have a great deal of knowledge... just giving the probable problems...Apache 180

no no i just adjusted the clutch play twice and it still happens both the times,my bike has just done a bit above 2000kms but this is my first bike and am learning (got everything except for the downshift timing) but i dont think the clutch will get damaged so fast,will it?Originally posted by saipranav View Post@Jude

In your ASC there will be a phone number displayed of a local TVS Engineer, take down that number and call him, these engineers are extremely helpful(from my experience) tell him your problem and also tell him that it was not solved when you approached the ASC...Apache 180
