  • Finally got the Vyde and FS for the bike and I'm loving it FS @ Rs 1775 and Vyde @ Rs 2700 including fitting...
    .

I did some quick laps with gravel filled corners and really loved the grip! Waiting for some rains now...

Dont you think the Zapper FS is fit in the wrong way?

      • What the specs of the Vyde?

Has anyone here changed/replaced the front brake assembly? the body with golden color? Due to poor workmanship from a previous service, I'm forced to change the whole thing. I'm searching for the price. The SVC spares guy on inquiry over call said a figure of 2100!!

Absolutely YES...! Either the Tyre rotation must be positioned wrong or must be a rear fit tyre used in the front.

Edit: Seems like the tyre rotation & the Fixing is done right.

Nopes. It perfectly fine! There is no Zapper FS for rear!

Its 120-80. Doesn't rub against the walls and doesnt feel if the bike is slowed down!

You're right. My bad. This LINK Cleared my doubts. Just got confused as the pattern is running inwards

                • @nisnth : How many kms did the stock tyres run? I am also planning, just too confused between vyde/Sports Demon/Michelin. How is the grip on corners? (My primary focus)

Met a fellow member from Apache Biking Club, Banglr last month. His bike's running on Vyde 120/80 and I was told that the tyre inspires more confidence in the corners and as Nisnth has mentioned, the tyre doesn't rub against anything.
The tread on the tyre looks rugged!

I've completed around 22K + on the "Divine" SriChakra tyres
It seems Vyde is made for corners. I could only hear praises for this by whoever has used it. Although every one also said that it has a shorter life of about 15K kms I cannot yet give you a review, even the "divine" tyres felt good initially

                      • A question out of curiosity - Is the Vyde not heavier than the stock?

                        • Guys a small problem, today i decided to set my AFR mixture myself and i observed that my AFR screw was full tight... so i slowly unscrewed it(anticlockwise) few times and petrol started leaking from the drain pipe... i felt i was doing something wrong and tightened the screw back and left it...
                          what mistake did i do?

                          • ^^Are you sure it was the A/F mixture screw or was it the Carb drain screw?

Forgot his name, dude! Bad memory!

He's from Chennai, working at Blr. Has a white RTR 180 with jugaad end pipe. Roars beyond 4000 rpm. But, he's facing an issue post 7000 rpm.
5-6 boys had come down to Pondy. I know the founder, Narayanan, hefty guy, rides a grey 160.

AF screw is not tight actually.
