Im not sure with the above Line - why you wanna move to the Right most position of the Road.....??? in an emergency
The faster Vehicle should go in Right side of the Road....and its not the place for stopping your Bike....
You should have cornered your Bike in Left Side and should have used Indicators atleast...
I think you have created an Accident rather than meating with an Accident...
By the way Hope you are well.....

BOOM!!! i think it was a discover or a shine whch hit me at abt 60 (i assume) from the back , the bike is a new one and the driver is a faculty at my college ,its absolutely his fault. he along with his frndz were going back to the city , he was tryin to overtake his frnd who was driving a car (YES THESE PPL ARE THE FACULTY IN MY COLLEGE). as soon as the accident occurred one senr faculty came to us and shouted at us "What is that driving??". i told him that v were almost going at 0 speed then he stopd , he was talkin without even knowing what happend,As soon as he hit , i was able to stop the bike from fallin suddenly , used a single leg to stop , now that leg is hurting badly. my frnd who was behind fell down ,no damage done to any person. my tail lights , rear mudguard and saree guard and my helmet are completely damaged and needs to be replaced, silencer and crash guard have minor scratches. Expected Cost ~2.5k.
Sad to hear that bro!!..Even if your going at 0 or 10kmph never ever believe the person coming from back. The first rule of riding/driving is never to believe in fellow riders.

Okay, i've a small problem with my bike.Everytime i go past 80kmph and then to stop it from there while depressing the clutch, results in direct switch off of the engine. Can't make out what is it?Could you guys please show me the way?
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

sry bro thatz a typo , i was at Leftmost part of the road

The Repair of the Bike is done , only rear tail light has been replaced , saree guard has been removed ,chain guard was bent slightly and broke at the end (mech said no need to replace that).
The frame has been bent to the right side (the impact was on the left side) and the mudguard is bent towards the right side.He said he will repair this in the 2nd service coz it wud take 1 day atleast and i dint want to give it to him for that much time...
so cost only 1250.need to buy a new helmet now .. it was just 2 weeks old

sad to hear that u met with an accident bro.. *sigh*
glad to hear that u r not injured...
hope ur bike is a lot more in shape now...

well my theory once again turned out to be true that most of the accidents take place when one goes below 30kmph.. :P well most of my accidents have happened that way....

                    • Completed 530kms and from 500kms this "service reminder indicator"(Red Light with a spanner logo on the tachometer console) is blinking while starting the bike.I think ASC will do something about this?

A Small Query: We Got TVS Authorized Service Centre in My Place. The Main Dealership Workshop is 40kms away.Should I give the Bike for Service in A.S.C ?Any Recommendations?

Check for any cloth or paper obstructing air flow into air-filter....if not carb needs to be tuned/cleaned.

                              • @badbikerboy:Tighter tappets?May be that's the issue?

PS:How Did You People Completed Running-in for the first 1000kms?
                                from indiabike Q&A regarding Apache 180 :
IT IS GuuD THAT YOU rode the bike from 43-55kmph speed variance with gears changed. IF YOU tried Occassional Burst for 2-3 seconds to 60-65kmph and slow down and allowed to cool down IS OK. YES YOU ARE following the Proper Running-in.
