Got it last sunday, kept the news under wraps to give Delhi people a surprise.

A query : The manual shows not to exceed 50kmph till 1000kms. Which run in method would you recommend?
      Follow what Renny suggested!!

Later on when i restarted the bike and rode it, it was working normal.
Guys is there any issue with the battery or any other electrical of the bike ?
      Help here
Battery(and the terminals) need to be checked.

          • Can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove the red rim tapes on the alloy? I dont want to use blade as it'll cause removal of paint.

Don't try to remove them-in the RTR, it comes like a thick cover alongwith the rim sidewall black itself-if you remove that, the whole thing will be gone!

              • Hey there,

Guys, i just put the sponge grips on my bike...those 20 rs ones...

The prcedure is harmless cause it does not require any dismantling..but the feel is nice....also, the palm pains lesser than before...

You are right your palm and hand will pain less.....but after 6 months it will have enough gooo on it to poison an entire city....the grips collect dust and crap like a NH toll collector.

It does not make any major difference to the look, just that the handle looks thicker...i am going to buy a good pair of riding gloves now...till then the grips will do the job...

You are right...they do get sticky after some days...i did it as a temporary adjustment....i am going to cut them off within a month or two...

There is no harm in removing those strips,I myself had removed them.Instead I used broader strip on the rim which looks nice.See this image.

Looks very appealing ...good. Is it a reflective one?..If it is,it will look much better at night and will provide safety.
