Sure i can ask the retailer, but I'm stuck with few things this whole week and I'm not finding time to ride my baby as well . So I can check it out only next weekend. The DRAGON costs Rs. 3000 (I guess). No other models apart from these two in this price range.

Do pass on you email addresses to me.

Where are you located Bro? In case I have issues with my baby, I'm ready to ride my bike for whatever distance to reach to your mechanic !!

Thanks to some gentleman who had wisely spilled two teaspoons of oil on the road.

Thanks to the worthy tvs rubber which has always scared me,but this time it did prove that it's not-all-slide-and-no crash!!

And thanks to my luck, that some car-waalah didn't run over me! It was one helluva of a accident!

More info in a while, have to clean and bandage the bruises..

Whoa!!! Take care bro....i suppose nothin serious happened....i too crashed two days ago..same oil on the road case... unluckily i was riding at 90+....shoulder gone for me (minor only though )...one month bed rest...thts whn i found this great gang of menacers

Well, brakes only work in dry roads....in my case it was an oily road....so braked did work out but the opposite way
Thnx...next time i`ll try to put a bigger post

@flyingJian - i waited for 3 weeks, just coz I did not want to piss off the SVC guys, but the delay become unbearable...
After I sent the mail, I took delivery of the bike the second day.
And yes, you are supposed to do a run-in of 1k kms. But I'm going the motoman way now. Smooth, HARD acceleration and deceleration. Will change oil and oil filter tomorrow.
              Why motoman? two reasons...
              1. I cant undergo another 1k km of booklet-run-in. No way!
              2. Even if the motoman run in ruins the engine, I have a backup plan - joelling .
One more thing is, I'm thinking of upgrading soon, atleast within a year. The tourer in me is demanding a faster bike
Brother i am also thinking to go by motoman engine breakin.
Right now waiting to hear from SVC guys abt the cylinder kit. Lets see how much patience i can have.
Do share you expereince with the motoman engine breaking ishtyle ?
Felt any difference from before?Do tell us abt intervals on which you will be going for oil and filter change?

Bro.. if the delay is more than a week, shoot a mail to TVS. After I sent the mail, i got the bike back within 48 hours flat!!

Motoman break-in is all about loading the piston rings - hard acceleration and deceleration - but its not as crude as twisting the throttle and slamming down the gears - it should be smooth, yet HARD...

I changed the oil and filter today - at around 75kms after installing new cylinder kit.

And guess what - the stupid TVS oil - it was just like water - so less viscous I was like WTF! And the drain quantity was more than 1L. Anyway, now I've poured Motul 3000, mineral oil. Will be changing it at another 1k.

About feeling any difference - no. Its all about engine health right? AFAIK it wont have any difference in the ride feeling, but the engine should have a better life....

Everyone is telling me I'm making a big mistake; but I'm taking the risk.

Actually,I was doing 90+ too. There was a rough oil patch and I mistook it for water(which is still scary if you have tvs rubber).I thought there won't be any problems with that at all.Straight road and I was confident but suddenly the rear gives the ghost out.It was all a matter of 2 or 3 secs and I found myself sliding while the bike continued to slide ahead for about 50 meter or so..Even when I had stopped and back in senses the bike kept going.. I would also blame the tarmac,it was of thin-membrane or oily kind.Never liked riding on this surface.

Luckily,I have come home safe with minor bruises on my arm and knee(scraped-it finally! )

The handlebar is twisted in bad shape,Leg guard although saved the tank but but sadly tank scoop is dented.Fairing is cracked very badly.Silencer has now traces of tarmac all over..I believe it's a lot of HEADACHE to get everything done now..

Lucky man.....but the right side of menace is more prone to damages. I hd it glidin on the left so just broke the fairing, suspension, both left side indicators, bent leg guard and broken Saree guard :-)

Nice... but u really cant reach top speeds with that helmet, can you? (your eyes wouldn't let you to ). Btw, I had Vega earlier. The problem with it was the graphics didn't have a protective coating over it and gets easily scratched. How about yours? Does it have a protective coating over the graphics or can you feel those skulls with your hand ?
