Cause the car has more cylinders and the displacement is more than that of a bike.
Look at a truck its rpm maxes out at 4 k.

cmong back to topic- last time under mixed conditions i got 39.5kmpl.full ripping and sane riding.is this okay???what must i do to get 45+ kmpl???
Ride sanely, keep 45kmph,use less clutch and brake!

          • Hi Apachians,i have heard that its good to change the engine oil in a new bike before the 1st service,my dad bought Elf Moto 4 Gold (20W40)..
I saw that the manufacturing date is September 2009.So will it be a problem if i pour old engine oil or is it fine

Well, you can use that oil but check whether it is completely sealed or not.

I apologise if you feel that way.It was not ment as such.I was reading on this thread since some time with intrest before i was deciding on WHICH bike to purchase, to get input from users .i did take a test drive of both rtr as well as pulsar and both bikes have their positive points.I cannot buy both bikes and had to choose one.I continue to follow this thread even now.rtr has very good features like abs etc which is a first on indian bikes and i salute it.
I hope you see the positive side of things and dont take my comments in the wrong way.

Yeah please post a DIY. Also I need the holder to be pretty sturdy,in landscape mode and as well as comforting for the phone as My phone is full touch screen

but I'm not fully satisfied with the HID+Projector
may be cause its running on AC
ya AC is surely not the way to go for HID. There is this guy Raj Thilak in chennai, he can surely help u with easy conversion of AC to DC (Without coil rewinding, APE stator stuff).

I still dnt understand why everyone prefers for coil rewinding and bigger stator install process.

I got the setup from him for AC conversion (just 100 bucks i guess ). The installation is too easy (buzz me ur mail id if u need pics) + am running the 3inch bi-xenon projector...has worked superb till now...no troubles.

in my opinion it would be better to sell it off than storing it for 5 years ! buy a new bike when you come back and im sure there would be better options then . there are way too many negatives of tyres and rubber parts hardening , battery dying , dust and moisture causing rust , rats etc chewing the wiring etc etc ........
