• Re: New Thunderbird 350 Wet Problem

Dear s1d,

Many thanks for your reply. I have already tried first 2 points but that didn't make any difference.
Today I inspected the carb and found that it's pump was worn out which was letting extra air to come in with the fuel and making all this issue.
After replacing the pump everything is fixed and bike is running like a new one, All in these look like the rain was just a co-incident :-)

Thanks again for your help.

Regards
Kishan

Great diagnosis! What RE lacks in after sales service is improved many times over by the enthusiasm n advice of seasoned riders!

There's a poster on the wall of the RE showroom here in Chennai saying when you have to pay and all details. You can charge interest legally on that amount.

OMG, that's bad news for me ... I just spoke to the showroom guys. They are still not clear and faking a delivery within a day or two. When I questioned them regarding the payment made to settle so early, they had no answer, and now they tell me I could collect the cash cheque back and pay once the bike is ready :what: ..
I did contact the customer support in Chennai, and only managed to get the Area Manager's number.
srj.dvy, can you please get me the details or a pic of the poster that you mentioned about, so that I can at least threaten them with it and the interest factor.

I paid the full amount in cash minus booking amount just 10 minutes before I took the delivery of bike. Simple rule I always follow is to see and check the bike/car thoroughly before making the cash payment.

I paid all cash n waited. I got the bike in 15 days TB350. Doesn't seem to be an issue if u have receipts.

I called up RE showroom to check of the bike.
I had booked in May 2014 and want delivery on Dussera in Oct.
I am told to pay full amount 20days before my desired delivery date. If I am taking loan, I need to start the process 45days before the desired delivery date.
I am confused as to how to know if the bike I had booked is arrived.
I am told that I have to make full payment. Registered bike will be delivered to me. After that only I can go and check the bike.
Similar process in most places?
I have booked with Soniya Motors on GB Road, Thane.

Hi folks,
Happy monsoon riding,
Its been almost 3 months when I got hands on my birdie and enjoying the ride with new experience always. Performance is upto the mark wherein I managed to fetch a mileage of 44kmpl in city riding conditions.

I am seeking some valuable suggestions from your end upon my below concerns,
1. My 2nd sevicing is due in 2500-3000kms but due to tight office schedule I am not able to achieve desired run on my ODO, I need to get it serviced otherwise the serving will be lapsed. Wanted to understand if I replace the OIL after desired kms and get the bike serviced now, will it make some difference???

2.i am planning to get my TWILLIGHT colored bike teflon coated, is it a wise option that it will not affect paint in coming future.

3. I have also installed a crash guard from showroom, yesterday I had to apply emergency brakes because of which the front mudguards tip came behind/under the crash guard rod and my handle got struck with Zero movement on busy road. I some how managed to get myself rid out of that horrible situation.

Request you all kindly resolve my concerns.

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
