Whenever I see cops ahead, I take cover. As in behind an auto/Car/Bus. That will reduce the frequency of you opening the Utility box.

I keep the papers below the seat. Xerox of RC and Insurance. Accidentally once punched in the papers with the seat hook and it proved helpful coz the papers stay in place no matter what happens :P and it's a lot less work than opening the utility box. I actually haven't opened the box even once.

Under the front seat in an envelope stuck with the rubber band provided under the seat, doesn't get wet and easier to access.

Hey

I have been trying to get a bike cover for my ride. Every cover I've tried failed to cover the whole bike.. Especially the front tyre. Have anyone of you found a perfect cover for TBs? Went to RE spares outlet as well, and same was the case with the cover they provided.

Any help?

Sujit,

I think its not able to cover the front tyre because of Mirrors(guessing). Try getting a cover with pockets for mirrors or you can get zips stitched at that place for the mirrors to come out.

Let me know if that helps

Cheers

I had bought the cover from Babloo motors, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Cover the whole bike, has pockets for the mirrors and good material. I think I ahd paid around 800 or 900 for the same.

hey Sharrrrrrad ,
These covers do have mirror pockets but still no use.. Yes its due to the mirrors that none of them reach the bottom.
These Covers are basically designed for classics/bullets/Electras and not suitable for TBs height. Getting one stitched is what am thinking about. Such a pain!

Hey amey87
You get covers of all price range starting from rs200 - 2000. The one In the pic was 1300 from RE spares outlet. They had two others costing 850 and 650, but they gave me this promising it'd cover the whole bike top to bottom. Luckily I got to try it out from there itself n the it was as seen in the pic. Finally I ended up buying a normal cover (plastic kind of material) which cost me 200 . Atleast something is better than nothing. But this is temporary. My hunt for a better cover is still on.

Hey everyone. This is my first post in xbhp . I got my thunderbird 350 last month . Completed 480 kms and finished first service today. I stuck to 60 speed limit till now and tried touching 80 today . i have started to increase the throttle to 3000 rpm. This is fine right? I have noticed the engine getting heated up excessively...is this normal?

Ocassional speed bursts is recommended as that will help the engine to set in at various speeds. Read the manual and stick to specified RPM's during break-in period. Also, you will feel the heat to some extent since the engine is relatively new.

Cheerz!!
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.
