Wasn't the second service due at 6K kms? Also which engine oil did the service guys use? The steering stem may as JD666 suggested have come a little loose (mine did) - but that will lead more to a clunking/judder than vibration, right?

With the Steering stem bolt tightening done... the vibration on the handle bar will reduce.. but what to do if the vibrations are coming from under the seat..

          Anybody had similar issue?
I've been facing vibrations and some tingling sensation from the right clip-on. Mentioned this a couple of times to the service technician. Will get it rectified during the 3rd service which is not too far away.

Tighten the seat, side panels, rear tails etc. Padded undies (like cycling shorts with padding for the bum area) might help.

Vibrations from the seat could be due to gas also.

I already got this fixed from Prasanna, but still things are not up to the mark.

Point well taken adi.. need to get it checked by a doctor then..

But will have to tell the doctor that gas increases with speed of the bike.. .. hope the doctor understands it..
            RIP Marco

            • does anyone have the approximate cost of the entire rear bit of the N25OR?

              minus the body panels.

ie: taillight + rear mudguard + inner mudguard + indicators + misc

              .

                    • My Ninja is facing starting trouble for the past two days. If I off the key and try again, maybe in 2nd or 3rd go the engine starts. I'm guessing it's the low battery charge. Taking it to SVC during the weekend. Anyother comments on the issue?

Maybe the off-roading in Munnar shook the battery contacts loose?

Check battery contacts for firm fixing, otherwise your on/off switch is developing loose contact..kaput

Hmm, the possibilities are there but it's highly unlikely since I was riding it for a week and more after the off-roading and all was well..

                              • Guys, had a couple of queries/issues with the bike, since the 2nd service is coming up, wanted to get your inputs/pointers
                                1) The bike feels very ""rough", especially at low rpms/ slow moving traffic...looks like the oil seal on one of the front shocks is leaking could this be the reason?
                                2) The gears feel kinda notchy, again the problem is primarily at low rpms
I had the oil changed about a 1000 kms ago..

                                3) I'll be switching to Motul 15W50 5100 and planning to get the rear tyre changed too (sports demons most probably) any specific thing I should keep in mind?

                                Thanks in advance
