If it's the same model number coming for Duke 200, then u are right..the new battery might not have been charged properly.. Try the fuses if it's not cranking even a little bit.

By the way, I did my 18k service today. Looks brand new even after 3 years. Though I felt bad on one thing, there's a strange resonance noise at around 6.5k to 7k. It completely disappears after that. But since majority of us shift gear in that region, it's getting a lil annoying. I tried tightening the exhaust headers and all the loose bolts, but the resonance is still there. Do anyone faced a similar problem? Or am I exaggerating? :P

what i meant was similar to wheel pin stripe. you can get the side panels striped in smilar reflective green. it looks good. i have seen similar striping on black ones on the rear panels. also as its old get the a meguair treatment for paint defect removal and finishing. it will make the bike brand new..

no point making it a model which it is not. retain the originality of the machine brother... keep it shining...

might be some loose fairing joints. try tapping the fairing slowly with the palm and see if you can find a shaky/loose part that might be creating the same.

Fuses all are fine as when I put my old battery there is at least cranking noise from the starter motor.
Got the new battery checked, it was all drained out and just showing voltage if 10.6. Battery guy will get that replaced but don't know how much time it will take as duke's battery is not easily available in Delhi.

          • Confused 🙏😤😭

Well it's been a few months only since I've been living in Bangalore and got myself a used kawasaki ninja 250
previously back in my state (sikkim) I was riding a yamaha r15 v 2.0
ninjas was always on my mind though
finally my parents agreed and got me one
the bike was in a good condition but it had lil scratches in places which was not noticable
slowly I wanted to make my bike look a lil more sexier so first thing that came on my mind was led indicators
i feel the stock round and huge indicators doesent match the bikes looks (personal opinion) and replacing it with stock would have cost me ₹1669 per piece 😂 pretty shocking haha
so I got 4 new replacement led indicators from "grid gear" or something beside "dream machines" garage
and after all the DIY of 3 hours
when I turned on the indicator
all four seemed to turn on 😴😴😴😴
Went up to my room and did a little research on led indicators
and it seemd my indicator flasher didn't seem to support the led as it was for bulbs
so I'm still suck with this probelm
            looking for a led flasher
or if anyone has any other opinions please feel free to comment..

Duke/RC have LED indicators. You could try them. Just take it to the SVC and ask if they got one pair to check. If they do then you can pay them for the fitment and the indicators.

Am I the only person here using a TVS Apache RTR disc pad on rear? Not even Zma Nissins are available as well as goldfren. It costs only Rs 250 and my rear is more like a drum now. I heard some users have found this pads scratching the rotors, is it true? The rotor is always scratchy from the beginning.. Any info's?

Hey, I changed my rear tire. Guess what i did ? I plonked the same 150/60 R17 MRF Rev Z, straight out of Duke 200. The Duke rim is 3~4mm wider than Ninja's. so i didnt get the exact width of Duke 200. Though if we put a scale across both the bikes tire width, its negligible. Its rounded nicely and provide almost same height and thus overall gearing as stock. not need to mention, it looks really good and not even kissing any part. i can put one finger easily in between the tire and chain guard. Since its a rounded profile, its not creating any unwanted drag.
                      Pros:

                      1) Looks damn sexy
                      2) Soft compound tire
                      3)Rounded profile for better cornering
4)Best grip to price ratio (Rs 3200/-)
5)Best aspect ratio for an upgrade since 140/65 R17 is not available
                      6)Stock overall gearing

                      Cons:

1)150 section tire is still an overkill for a 250cc
2)Fellow riders are not confident enough with these on duke 200 on wet conditions tough exceptionally good on dry
3)when i did a virtual slalom test, what i found is the rear is slightly quicker in changing directions compared to front which i felt a little edgy, maybe ill get used to it.

Still its a better upgrade than a 140/70 R17 as this size increase the overall gearing and make it taller. good for long distance, tough a drop in acceleration. And since, this tire is so good for what we pay for, i dont have any remorse in selection.

I am only concerned about the strength/speed rating of the MRFs. Ninja 250 is more powerful and reaches good speeds at a faster rate than the D200. It also goes further on the speedo when compared to D200. Will that rear tyre hold well is a guess work for now.

I have a D200. It has soft compound tyres front and rear and heats up nicely. The grip is good in dry but horrendous in wet and sandy conditions. I will still say, get the tyres changed to one that is near the specs of N250, i.e. 130 rear. You are losing the side wall height too in this process of switching to 150. N250 rims don't come easy and cheap

The original is 130/70, so the overall height is very similar to 150/60 and since it's radial, the 2cm extra width is now more rounded.. Thats all.

The MRF Rev Z-c is an S rated radial which is it can go safely till 180kmph. Ninja maxes out at around 165kmph. So it is totally safe. Then I too have heard about wet grip, but after a fall from my Zma long back, I never ride fast in rain or less than desirable conditions, so I think I can live with it. Then Yeah, side wall is less but since the tyre is well rounded, the overall height is very similar to 130/70 R17.
