I have a 1Ltr can of Motul 5100 15w50 semi synth which i dont need since i am switching to fully synthetic oil. The can/bottle is sealed and was bought only recently.

Anyone wants it, please PM me. Local pickup only (Bangalore).

My K&N filter also is up for sale. Anyone interested please let me know. Used for only 3k odd kms. I also have a cleaning kit available.
How much did the full-synth cost you?

1200 bucks after discount. This is the Motul 7100 20w50 ester 100% synthetic.

Bike feels as good as new. One fairing bolt had fallen off and i could hear vibes b/w 7k and 9k RPM. Thats vanished and the power delivery is smooth and refinement is like the bike is brand new. Got the brakes bled and the fluid replaced. All other fluids topped up. Replaced all the fairing bolt washers too.

      P.S. Acceleration was mind blowing...

Got dragged for a good 8-10m.Was lucky that a guy helped me as i was pretty dazed and the place was deserted. Aftermath- A dislocated knee cap and wrecked bike. Damaged the fairing, bent rim, etc. could not start the bike.
Tomorrow my cousin is going to give my bike to the pro biking. So it would be helpful of you guys if you give me a link or list of spare parts cost. Tried googling but most of the results are from abroad.

          thanks
Got a total quote of rs.61,000 for the spare. the fairings cost 12k+8k, headlights a whopping 22k(includes the assembly and holder) ,4.65 for front mud guard, 2.6 k for rvm, 1.8k for turn signal, 5.3k for front fender, clip on 3k, clutch lever rs.800.

Is this genuine price. How much will be covered by the insurance?

Why 7100 Aditya? Why not the Motul 300V
Though its 15W50, Many web-sites actually recommend that
Not that you would not have done your research part (Which I trust like Bible) But was just anxious to know the reason

The 300v costs almost 1k per liter here in Blore while the 7100 costs 600 bucks a liter.

I dont see the need for a double ester FS oil like 300v till i take the bike to the track. For my kind of usage the 7100 is more than sufficient. There is no major difference between both in terms of performance so at this time i did not feel the need to go for the factory line 300v.

              • 6th (24K) Service

My bike is fast approaching 24K...
Any of you done with the 6th service (24K)??? (The only person i can think of is Bluevolt?)

Also is there something like a pillion friendly saddlebag for the NInja??
Am using a buffalo saddle bag and the problem is with pillion getting on and off the seat. Since the rear pegs come directly under the edge of the bag, its difficult for the pillion to mount herself on/off the bike as she ahs to put her legs sideways because of the bag.

Please note: The pillion is the controlling authority. Its a mandate that the ride be real comfortable. So any suggestions on this would be rewarded (a beer on offer). ON my recent trip to Nashik, the pillion banned the saddlebags and i had to load it in my cousin's car

                    • Only suggestion i could give is to use a bigger Tank bag and a smaller back pack for the pillion. Also, try getting one of the corbin seats (you might have known before) - Corbin Motorcycle Seats & Accessories | Kawasaki Ninja 250 R | 800-538-7035 - May as well try installing a Sissy bar type for better comfort, if comfort is a *Priority*.Good Luck!

                        • tyga full exhaust system

                          hai guys,

have installed tyga full exhaust system on my ninja and run nearly 800kms after the install...i liked the sound very much(especially the idling sound),it isnt too loud and not too dirt-bikish(atleast till 8-9k rpm).its bassy and the grunt is deeper(which is the kind of sound i like)

reg the performance gain: there is no gain in the top end..but its quick now and there is significant increase in low and mid end(which is what it is a bit lacking in the stock form)...initially the i used to listen pop sounds frequently...after running for 50kms like that..i disconnected the battery terminals(suggested by some guys)..now i rarely hear pop sounds from the exhaust

over-all i am satisfied with the purchase of the exhaust and would refer this to anyone who want to get an after market exhaust with a decent power bump at a reasonable price

now i want to change the airfilter(mods bug bit me )..would like to hear the opinion of you guys on different airfilter k&n(positive review from aditya so no doubt regarding it)

                            Congratulations on your new acquisition.
Low and Mid range performance gain is much needed when you are on some twisties that I felt was a bit missing during my last trip.

Well well its indeed inevitable that the MODS bug has bitten you pretty hard.
I myself have tried Harsha's bike and I could feel the top speed coming up pretty quicker than the stock

Below are a couple of pics of the bike with the Full Exhaust...

Thanks...The corbin seats are real comfy.

THe only idea i can think of now is to carry a 12inch long hard pvc pipe along and slot it into the rear footpeg (it becomes an extended footpeg and would allow the pillion to step on it even if the saddle bag is there) so that that the pillion can get on the seat. Remove the same and carry it in the bag and slot it back in when the pillion has to dismount!
