Hi Guys

I have been a ZMR owner from 2010 20k done overall really happy with the bike but i have vibration issues from i don't know where it's either from the dashboard or the cowl, Bike has fallen a couple of times minor scratches,I told SVC about it they told me the right cowl needs to be changed i did not bother to change just for this small issue yesterday met with an accident i was safe but the left fairing got hurt badly now i am changing the whole fairing part already got the parts i really hope the vibration is not from the dash else i have to change even that. My question is there are some scratches on the frame just below the headlight the "V" frame will that be included in the fairing kit? Cause the box is sealed and i don't know if its a separate part and is there anyway tha i can make the SVC here take my issue seriously cause there are 2-3 screws missing on the bike and whenever i leave it for service they tell me no stock blah blah really annoyed by this.Would be really helpful if you can advise on this.Sorry for the long post BTW i have attached the invoice for the fairing kit if anyone needs it

hey all ZMR friends,

I am having ZMR almost for 10 months and very happy with performance and comfort of riding. In last 10 months following are my negative feedback.

1: Front Disc pad had to be replaced after 9000 KM run and it's relatively costly around Rs1200. My question to other ZMR owners, kindly share after how much driving changed the Front Disc pad. My younger bro is also owning Black ZMR and that bike Disc pad got changed by 7000 Km only.

2: Once after refilling the full tank of petrol from almost empty tank, the fuel pump got damaged and had tough time. Got the bike loaded on Tempo for 26 Km. The fuel pump covered under replacement warranty.
Did other ZMR owner have similar bad experience.

Suggestion on K&N Filter:
Among the friends any one replaced stock filter by K&N filter, if yes please share model number.

I got mine replaced after 11k

How much did it cost? Did you change at Service Centre or local workshop.

The frame around the headlight comes along with the top fairing.. The ine with 'ZM' on it.. I'd advice you to stop giving the bike at the svc and find a good private mechanic.. Anyway 20k kms done.. No use of the waranty as i guess it may have expired.. Even i bought mine in 2010 and 21k+ kms done!! Bought in dec

Never go for k&n.. In order to increase the sound, small holes are provided on the surface inside the mesh.. In time, due to suction, these become bigger in size and dust enters your cylinder and when this happens you know the outcome.. I installed the simota filter and i swear i never noticed any mileage drop.. Sound is neither loud or too low.. Its just perfect and the pick up is simply amazing!! Try it and you'l know.. But the installation must be carefully done.. If not i would advice cosworth.. Do not choose anything other than these two.. Never..

Replaced mine at 15k.. Dunno the cost.. Replaced at a private service center

Can you tell me why you r suggesting cosworth over k&n.even I m using k&n never seen any mileage drop..

Even i was about to go for k&n.. the problem is not with the mileage drop... Its the quality.. Ask anyone... Cosworth manufactures for rolls-royce... So you get the picture!!.. Remove your filter and look at the texture.. you'll find small minute holes if you look hard. They must not be there. Its impossible to detect them in these two other filters... My advice would be to go back to your stock or any of these two..
