Hi All... I am purchasing my first bike. I am beginner level rider so willing to buy bike that fits to me. Initially I went to buy shine (68000) n later I visited Bajaj showroom. The pulsar 135 ls (71000) caught my attraction. But I got to know no good reviews about pulsar 135ls. But still I booked it last Sunday 03 Sept 2015 listening to my heart beat. But the story of negative reviews still continued n suggested me to go for 150 DTS-I. I am still beginner n have fear of riding heavy bike so going in favour of light weight pulsar 135 ls. I also got to read about phasing out of this version of pulsar making unavalibility of spare parts.yesterday I changed my booking to 150 DTS-I. I don know that much about bikes so getting driven by choices of peoples around me n their perception. I am putting my hard earned money so request you to guide me .your advice would be very helpful to me. Thanks in advance

I have some problem in my pulsar 135, first vibration issue- when I am riding more than 55km/hr engine start vibration,
Second suspension issue. Front suspension is satisfied one but in rear suspension is not good. I adjusted the spring tension in the shockupsorber tooo but not getting smooth suspense
3rd breaking issue when i apply break bike is slightly skidding to right or left side. And also break is poor. I change several time break shooes. But no faidha
(For the vibration issue one of my Frnd told me( he is bike stunder and mechanic). If change the chain sprocket ratio the vibration will reduce. He told me when u r going more than 55 km/h ur engin Rpm is more than 5000. Thtswy vibration occure. So he sujjest me to change the chain sprocket ratio.
To all my Frnd please give me some me idea about to solve this problem

A little more details such as odo reading, riding style, etc can be even helpful in identifying the issue better.
Vibes can be due to several reasons. The main ones are oil reaching its end, bolts getting loose in the mountings and mounting rubber bushes getting hardened. Other than these, lean af(mileage tuning) and tight chain slackness can increase the vibrations.
Shock absorbers can wear out and get hard over time. If the tyre pressures are good and still the ride is rough, I'd say the shocks have reached its end of life.
For brake skidding, check the cone set for tightness/looseness. Check tyre pressure and set it to stock. Regarding brakes, completely remove the brake oil and pour fresh brake oil without any air bubbles in the brake system.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

                              • Gear shifting problem with pulsar 135ls

                                Hi
This is my first post in xbhp. I've been reading this forum for years. It helps me so many ways. But now i got a problem with my bike.

I bought pulsar 135 for second-hand in February. Bcoz this is my first bike, since i don't know how to maintain bike properly. I wanted to learn about bike a little before buying new one.

i like p135 very much. But previous owner maintained this one very well, except gears. When i bought it, it was very hard to change gears. Due to tight budget i can't get it repaired that time.
Gears can't be shifted normally. Gears only can be changed when keep pressing while releasing clutch. I learn that, and I'm comfortable with that.

But that creates the problems, like only i can ride this bike. Other people can't use this bike properly. I consult with some mechanics near my area.... Unfortunately they don't know what the problem is, same with service center.

My brother telling me that i need to change the clutch plate, but service center guys telling me to change entire great box with clutch plate...

I read someone in this forum had similar problem, and changed clutch plate with Yamaha r15's, and his problem is solved. I'm not sure about this one.
                                But that can be done???
Can i use r15's clutch plate in pulsar 135?
Will it fit in my bike ??
By doing this, it will create any problems ?

Note: I'm not into harsh driving. Changed engine oil in 2k. Bike odometer showed 25k when i bought. Now it's 29k.
