These mods can be done on all RTR's and A150's provided u have a good battery to power the HID

My RTR Refresh is smoking, and thats very much. The power is the same.
Before that it has started to give 38 kmpl.
What would have happened?

too much smoke means very less oil in bike ,check it out youself n fill new oil if needed

dude, a four stroker is not supposed to smoke at all! check your engine. your oil is creeping into your combustion chamber. check your piston rings (gurus, correct if i am wrong)

Thanx Hydbiker. I will use this setup for sometime and see if I face battery drain issues. I have seen even Calibers running with this stuff. So let me check. Plus am not going to continuously use the HIDs, only when its needed. So lets c. And BTW the fuel pump started leaking again today. The guys changed the pump under warranty and today it has again started to leak. I was like WTF!!??? I guess there is something wrong with the fuel tank as such!

Since you say that your bike's power is identical even though it is smoking, the mixture you are running may be too rich. A rich mixture will result in dark smoke out of the exhaust at higher rpms, especially when you open the throttle fully. All you need to do is, lean down the mixture as you are simply wasting fuel. This also explains the low fuel efficiency. In the long run, an overly rich fuel mixture will result in the engine, especially the head getting clogged with carbon. This could result in lack of power.

On the other hand, white smoke may occur if the rings are letting out oil into the combustion chamber. This is almost a disaster in modern bikes as it simply means that there is a manufacturing defect in your engine or it has been abused very badly, very early. Also, there will be a significant power loss as the bike will be loosing compression. For this, you could get a compression test done to check the compression status. Having said this, I sincerely hope and pray that this isn't the case with your bike. If the worst case is true, take the bike back to your A.S.S. and claim warranty. Tell the dealer that this happened all of a sudden even as you were riding very gently to run it in. That's the best you can do. I know people who have abused the bike and gotten away with the damage by claiming warranty.
