I guess we can wait a while for a good quality scan. But then, aren't you doing a PDF file? 43MB would be on the higher side (very high indeed!) and hence I guess you have only scanned images of each page!

What's the effect of this tyre on the speedo reading?

1300 RPM should be the ideal RPM. That apart, why the hell any FI is stopping (I know RTR FI has an open loop system, but there would be the temperature sensor at least!)... Also, the FI system is supposed to revv a bit higher and then adjust back to the required RPM by itself.

My R15 goes upto 2K RPM, comes down to 1600-1500 and then settles at 1300. Since a bit over a month (winter) when I start the bike after a day it is revving to 2500 RPM then to 1600-1500 for a longer time and then settling down at 1300.

No idea. Never bothered to check. Probably Joel can answer it better. But the difference in profile height is just around 1 - 1.5 mm. Will the difference be so much? Even if there is, its just going to be an addition to the omni-present speedo error!

Is it so? Never knew that. Let me have that as my backup plan!!
P.S: Post the address here if possible.

I am getting my bike from Service Today (Hopefully, If I can leave office a bit early today). From Zen. Work is been done by Rajesh. I have given him two spotlights to fix to get rid of the illumination problem.

Additionally I am fitting NGK iridium. Lubrication part is taken care by Motul.

@Joel, Great to see you in this thread. I have gone through your threads on Fierro 200cc. Awesome work.
Thanks man. I just saw your bike this morning at Zen(a blue apache 150). The lights have been fixed and all the work is complete. Have fun man

I replaced the front 13T with 15T. Bike's acceleration suffered, below 7k rpm. But given long enough stretch and it was able to put 130 on the speed gun.
I liked that sprocket at front for lazy cruising on the highway. Was able to do ~100km/hr on gps at 7,000rpm.

Joel, any idea how many links are there in rtr fi's chain?

                • @nav bhai: I would never really like to meddle with the front. AFAIK adding or removing a tooth at the front is equal to doing the same for 3 teeth at the rear. As Joel suggests 43T rear, going to a 15T front will be an overkill. A 14T front might be better but even that might be too tall, probably equal to a 41T rear

The links are the same as the regular RTR chain. Its 126 links.

Hey Nav, 15T is an overkill. Its equivalent to a 38T which is taller even for my modified RTR standards. 14T is a little better but still tall. You will have lazy acceleration. Do that only if you have atleast 2bhp more than stock
BTW, I'm coming to pune next month...guess why.

                    • Thanks God … Was able to come out of Office a bit early with UniZma,

Picked up my Bike from Zen TVS at 6:15.. As planned previously I could not fix Iridium but changed to Motul 300V..... As somebody said when you get the bike serviced at Zen; satisfaction guaranteed....That’s absolutely correct.... Work is very neat... The vibration till 4.5 K RPM has disappeared completely... Need to check the high RPM vibs.
I would definitely recommend Zen TVS and most importantly Rajesh's service.

Illumination is pretty good for those 200 bucks Chota Gujri (Near Urvashi Theater)Spot lamps. But they ate battery drainers… However on a highway run it should not be a concern.. As adequate current will be produced by the alternator at high RPM.

I believe you're using a tube with the R15 tyre. Would that be a regular 2.75x17 tube or is there something smaller to use?

                        • Finally my RTR FI has new blood..

                          Hello my Dear Apache Kin,
Finally after much thought, research and questioning my conscience, I have put Castrol Power 1 Racing. The guys at Meghdooth TVS service were shocked that I was shelling out 750 bucks for engine oil..And they told me, this was the first time they were using this oil in any bike!!

Also got the Tappet clearance adjusted.. Babe runs smooth.. Fell in love with her all over again.. Actually I had this strong inclination to get her into my room.. Park her next to my bed.. But.. Sometines.. Parents... They make the wiser choice..

Hmmm, the bike does seem smoother.. Have been using Power 1 all these days.. Actually I felt a drastic positive change when I moved from the company supplied oil to Power 1.
Now that I have moved from Power 1 to Power 1 Racing, I could feel the lady getting smoother.. More powerful.. But nothing drastic... Maybe the bike has to run in a little..

And my seat.. He he.. Got a seat cover custom made with three layers of 10 mm foam.. Seat feels pretty good!! Soft... is the word.. No more butt aches on long trips.. Hope so..

Thats it.. Will keep u posted..

Yep, am using a tube. I do not remember the tube's specs. It was the stock TVS tube that came with the stock tire.
