    Query regarding tyres

    Hi guys need suggestions for front and rear tyres for rtr.

    Aparajit suggested me to go for R15 or P220 front and the ZMR rear. What are the prices for these( in Chennai) ?

      I think that you buy the same size tyre of MRF, I think it will do the work moreover we all know that TVS tyre are not good tyre but the bike is solid.

        Guys, Today I noticed "IDI" was written on the exhaust shield(the silver plate which is covering the exhaust; don't know the exact name). Can you guys please tell what does it mean, just out of curiosity. Thanks

          The second lot of rtr silencer plates comes with that wording ..(half chain case)
          the first lot of RTR doesn' comes with that wordings (full chain cas)

              It is Inductive Discharge Ignition . it is for making a longer duration spark in engine .it also helps in better cold starts .

                  replace the plugs at every 5000kms, they hardly cost 150.
                  check the right side swingarm for the tyre pressure.

                        @renny cornelius- thanx bro! changed d spark plug today.I didnt know they shud be changed @ 5000kms. my bike had done 8900kms. the spark plug had become black . my bike was also stalling esp in crawling traffic and dat prob has dissapered after changing d spark plug. I rode only for abt 20-22kms after d spark plug change. will have 2 see d result after a longer ride. thnx again


                        poured petronas sprinta 5000 FS oil. didnt ride much after that. lets see how the bike performs

                          I have the problem that the neutral light stays lit, even when connected, and switched on the lights, turn on the light too high and turn signals on the board.
                          I wonder if anyone of you has had this problem before and if you have solution.

                              Paint loss by a high spray of water

                              Today when i was washing my bike the paint got peeled off from three places in the belly pan of the bike, though it got off from the scratched area which i had earlier with some stones.(little collision i had 8 months ago)..

                              Thenew one costs 550 bucks, lets see which painter will match the colour for me

                                yet to find the painter, tried 2, both told they wont be wasting their time creating and matchin the colour for this much of a small thing...
