    Thanks for The information!
Not from the air filter alone, on a carbed bike, like in your case, this lag can be due to the clogged air filter, clogged main jet, or the mixture of both.

Not at all.....must be a dumb head. Apache is the most successful product rather a master piece of TVS. never trust on those sales guys. They hardly know about the company policies.

May be the bike is not available on his showroom so he was telling that. I have faced a lot with these and i know how those chumps are just inquire in some other showrooms.

Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

Dude, try to notice the engine block(head). Most probably there has to be a change on that part otherwise the 'HyperEdge' monicker would be out of place and serve no purpose!!

has any1 changed the sprockets on their rtr 160??
i'm having a hard time finding a fit... i need a 12-tooth front sprocket and 46+ on the rear...
i know the effect, just lemme know if any1 knows of a fit, preferably something i can find in bangalore, if there isn't i'll just have to get it custom made

                            • I thought of a new thread, but then this product does not deserve a new thread.

@Manan:- I have no idea why you raised so many expectations for us.

@satyazma :- For the first time I would agree with you this has got to be the most disappointing upgrade ever. Even worse than HH product upgrades I would say. There is nothing new in the bike, it has got the 180's tail, and suddenly it has become HYPER EDGE, The price quoted was some 73K+.

The red bike seems to have a rear disc.

The dealer has no idea about the specs. No twin sparks nothing.

Terribly disappointed, let the pictures do the talking.

@mods:- I tried uploading the images to xbhp, but it kept on failing, so I had to upload it to some where else.

                              • @bprags:

Thanks for the pictures, you helped clearing all the doubts.

                                So the bike gains:

                                1. Ugly graphic design on the bike length stickers.

                                2. Small RTR sticker on the belly pan.

                                3. The chain's rollers are looking diff, may be it's a new "improved" o ring unit.

                                4. Hyper edge sticker on the tank scoops.

                                5. All black "APACHE" sticker.

I read somewhere that the bike has RTR 180's rear fender too, but sadly no rear pic of the bike to confirm the same.

So after all the waiting, this is the OH So New Hyper Edge....!!!!

                                TVS, we're Bored.
