      Sorry I can't be of any help, but someone has faced this issue earlier too. Now I don;t remember who !!!

      If and whenever you get a resolution for your issue, please post it in the thread!

      How long had you ridden the bike for when this prob occured? I just want to know if the engine was too cold or too hot!

        • Half an hour in the morning while going to office this happened.
          The power lag jerks(as if fuel supply had been cut off temporarily) came at high rpms only on the DND Flyway

          • ^ oh this ! this happened 2-3 times in last 30k kms ... but doesn't seem to be any kin of issue except the fact that somehow maybe an air bubble or something similar obstructed the fuel flow.

              • So i guess its one more known issue/nakhra of the 220 we have to live with
                Have driven the bike 120 km since yesterday... the same didn't happen again.

                  You should get these things checked:

                  * Air/Fuel Mixture/CO Setting
                  * Air Filter and
                  * Fuel Filter (I know you changed it recently but I advise you to check it again, if possible from a good SVC in your city, because the source of your problem is very likely from these two)
                  * check if both spark plugs are working properly (have you changed them?)

                  EDIT: Referring to your last post, I don't think you will. Do check it out. Pre caution definitely better than cure.

                  • Yup, will have to get it checked from the no good Suman Bajaj noida.
                    Had got both the spark plugs and fuelfilter changed 2k km back.

                        A double sided tape along the fairing-bracket join.

                            Does the fairing need to be removed and then put back on?

                              Yes, the double sided tape is sandwiched in between. So this would be a slightly time taking job too!
