  • frens,
actually both the bikes ... fz and r15 are awesome....

if you buy one ... you feel like why not buy the another...!!!
and I, despite craving, can't buy the both.

so the idea... buy fziiee and give it the make over of r15...

the rear of fz is more beautiful and the front of r15 is stunning...

and in this way one can remain in his budget also.
maybe not others but I have to operate under my budget, my Dad won't finance me for more.

matlab r1 kee fairing... ye to aur bhi zyada gazab idea hai...

but dude I think shayad r1 kee fairing over size ho jaye...
whereas fz and r15 match in size and dimensions approximately.

      dude,
karol bazaar mein toh ho hee jaayega...
these days I am not getting enough time out of my schedule...
but the day I go karol bazaar and enquire about it, I'll also let you know.

then why don't you post the pic of the bike and make us acknowledged.

By the way nice to know you were wearing a full protective gear (But i remember very well you once said to me outside CCD there is no point wearing riding gears i hope now you understood why we wear it)

        • whenever i go out on either my R15 or my Karizma i make it a point to ride with protective gear....Helmet, jacket, gloves and proper riding boots.......and u know what it's not always the ride which gets u all the attention but the right gear and it gives u protection as well. I have seen more people notice you on your R15 with gear rather than going out like a helmetless wonder...i hate guys who tuck helmets in their hands while riding as if it was there to protect their elbow.....maybe they will wear an elbow guard on head....but the question is how...........

man ... it will do.. 150 in sixth gear...!!!

else 145 to chali hee jayegi...

waise it can go.. .150 downhill...or down the flyover...
I read in some mag.. that this bike does 128 in fifth cog.
and it can go much more fast if you can drop it from the top of the building...

Good Joke though R15 even in its dream cant do 150 in stock condition.

@sudipta_roy Sure it can do all day without hassels

If we believe this video, R15 does 133 with a pillion rider and full tank. So if the strech is good enough, the gear shifting is proper and there is not much of wind resistance, then I think the bike wd surely touch 150 on the speedo with a single rider.

yeah. Its worth the price. It can do 110 with pillion but at 7-8k rpm.

                    • if you are planning to take someone pillion regularly .. avoid the 1 5 .. it's got the worst pillion seat .. otherwise buy it .. also paint job sucks so get ready to recolour the metal parts if need be .. I am already looking for some spray paint .. plastic quality is top notch though.

@amit :- I guess you should see it in person .. and I want my bike to be unique so not putting it online.

It can do 110kmph with pillion effortlessly.

When coming to single rider, in 5th gear as per speedo it shows 125kmph at 9.5K - 10K RPM.

When we go on plain road, with almost no crosswinds. With single rider R15 touched 137kmph (True Speed as per N82's GPS was 129kmph) in 6th gear at 10K RPM. Maximum I was able to touch is 142kmph (I weigh 78KG + My riding gear), with very very little slope. I am not sure whether it can do 150kmph. It needs long open stretch and bit slopey.

It touches 100kmph exactly at 7K RPM in 6th gear with single rider, same with pillion too, but takes more time.

Coming to touring, No problem with my long rides till now. I was able to ride non-stop for 95kms untill my body gave up the endurance testing . No backache, No Wrists problem. Only the right ankle goes little numb because of elevated brake lever.

Note: All speed readings are speedo indicated

                              • ...Yesterday I took a test ride of R15. And contrary to what many people are saying that this bike lacks power in lower-mid rpm range, I really didnt find anything like this. I thought its quite powerful from the word go!!! I mean, sure, since it has a wide rpm range and have a really good top speed, it is going to generate more power higher up the range. But still, I really enjoyed riding and I think its worth a buy. Suspension and ride quality is simply much better than any other India bike!!!
