  • I was interested in buying bullet/classic 350 , but I am confused among the differences among these both have same engine and differ in body parts , but the price difference is 20k+ in Blore(Bullet is 1,04,000 & Classic is 1,26,000).So i just want to know what other difference s are there ?

    • Classic 350. Not going above 80KMPH

      Hi Everyone,
      I am a new member to the biking community. I own a Classic 350, May 2011 model.
      Till now I have done about 3300Kms on my bullet. I am facing a problem, when ever I try to go above 80KMPH the bullet stops responding to accelerator, it feels like there is no petrol in bike but as I return back to 80KMPH it runs fine.
      Any clue, whats happening in my bullet?

      • Electra 5s needs some work

        Guys..i have an electra 5s sep 2008 model. The the rear indicator housing is rusted and one indicator is broken. Also there are rust all over the chrome. So am looking for some spare parts (rear light assembly plus two indicators) and front indicators + rear view mirrors and a chrome job for chrome parts pluus the paint job for the rest.
        Am based in Pune and i usually take it to Alex in Viman Nagar. Any one can give me a cost estimate for the items.

        1)Rear light assembly
        2)Rear indicators
        3)Front indicators
        4)Rear view mirrors
        5)Chrome job
        6)Paint job
        7) Get a more powerful light

        Another question is whether i can claim all these under insurance??? Never claimed insurance so far so am not too sure about how to proceed. Please do help.

          Seems to be a case of improper carburettor setting (dirt/ water in bowl, or incorrect mixture), or incorrect timing. Tune and clean the carb first, that's the more common culprit.
          If that doesn't solve the problem, get the timing checked by a mechanic.
          And it would be great if you could post the solution here - that way more people benefit.

            Hi,
            The differences are mentioned below :

            *1st of all, the engines are the same 346cc blocks but the crank of both the engines are different.

            *C-350 has disc brakes where as the STD bullet doesn't have one. (Optional disc brakes can be fit onto the bullet at a prices of around Rs.8000)

            *C-350 has electric start where as the STD bullet doesn't have one. (Here to the electric start can be fit to the Bullet at an additional cost of around 14k-15k )

            *C-350 comes loaded with gas filled rear shock absorbers where as the Bullet comes with the regular Old School shock absorbers which take abuse to a great extent.

            The C-350 is costlier due to these parameters, as well as STYLING plays a very important role in deciding the price factor

            *Fabricating the split seats for the C-350 are costlier.

              • Guys my friend has currently booked an RE350 Classic in Mysore and it has a waiting period of 7 months ( pure agony ) ... So i want to know if it's possible that if someone cancels their booking , can that bike can be allotted to him , so that he gets it sooner ?

                  Yes its possible. But you need to have a very good rapport with the Dealer. Like if the dealer is a good friend of yours or some one you know, it might be possible. Also I have read and heard that there is a specific time for which a dealer holds a bike for a person who is arranging a payment through Finance. If he doesn't clear it by then then the dealer can allot the bike to another person.
                  I booked a C500 and it had a waiting of 10 months. Then I changed my booking to Desert Storm. Now its 3 months.

                        I had the same problem in my STD 350 for some time. As your mechanic told, it indeed requires ignition timing and carb tuning .

                        I got it solved from teknik motors in sarjapur road. if you are around this place, I recommend to take it to them.

                        • RE Classic 350 - Handle Problem

                          Hi Folks,

                          I got my RE Classic 350 50 days back and i'm loving it . The Odometer reads(18XX). I stay @ Pune, Maharashtra.

                          Last saturday I had been to Murud which is about 180 kms from Pune. I rode about 400km in a day .

                          I found some problems while riding my bull though.. While riding for long time, my shoulders start to ache . Back isn't an issue though coz of wonderful seat .

                          Is this because of Handle bars? Or Handle seat co-ordination. I sit upright with my hands streched fully. Am I doing it right? Do I need to change the Handle?

                          CL350 Owners, please answer my query.

                              Sit with a slightly relaxed posture,try siting with slightly bend back and drop your shoulders.Hope this helps

                                Can only sitting position or Bad roads be the problem??
