I suspect it is some inbuilt functionality in the BCU. Restarting the bike solves the problem.
    Inbuilt functionality or a bug

Petal due to more increased surface area provide better heat dissipation so cool down more faster.

While riding at night with lights on, if your bike goes off (for any reason) and when you restart your bike the following won't light up:-
            1. Speedo LCD.
            2. Parking lights on the headlght.
            3. Tail light.

            Inputs appreciated

                that aint a bug
its inherent in its electrical system.
reason behind it? i have no idea. but all of my buddies with the same bike (all 28 of them) share the same concern.

                question to you guys.
i accidentally scratched the side of the tank body with leg (my left pant leg pocket button did it). the red color was scratched leaving a white color (is that the primer?) can this be repaired by spot painting it or would it require the whole tank be painted?

if it can be spot painted how can i do it?

thanks in advance for your answers

                • Life Of Rear Tyre

                  Hi,

I own P200 2 and half years old and have rode nearly 38K kilometers. Now a days my rear tyre skids a lot. Seems like the treadings have gone... Whats the life of the rear tyres. Does any body have any ideas?

According to the PBK chaps, the only way is to repaint the full tank which costs ~5K i think. The cheaper way is to spot paint but you need a matching paint shade for it, and I have seen a few ads for paints specially for Bajaj/HH etc...but can't remember where.

I've done 21K and rear is in great shape, however front is almost gone. I think the rear can be stretched to 30-35K but you can visually check if the tread is gone and replace if required.

It is a bug. That has no solution at the moment.

What you are saying is like what Microsoft said about Blue Screen of Death - "It is by Design" to protect your system.

try their spray paint for Rs 100 to 150. They have most colours for Bajaj.

At Rs 5K you can get a new tank.

Tyre life on torquey bikes depend a lot on how and where you ride. If your tyre is showing signs of old age, change it.

Some people here have changed their rear tyre 3 times within 38K Kms on the odo.

IMO its the transparent film coating over the LCD console that comes on all Bajaj digital instru panel bikes. If its bugging you then you can remove that by peeling it off. But its meant to be there to prevent scratches to the LCD panel.
