Hi, Sorry I am not able to post any pics, as my friend has borrowed my camera, but you can have a look at this member's album, I am using the same Clip-on that he has fitted. Member id is "dual disc 200"

And well, the NGK is an internal mod, so no use posting pics!

About the Night Breaker, if you really wanna know, have look at the "let there be light" thread, few members have posted pics of NB bulbs in use. It does make a HUGE difference. The stock bulb on the P200 is crap. I think thats why the new 220 comes with a 55w bulb, but it is Halonix, not as good as Osram.

Also switched to Motul 300v 2 days back, engine was instantly smooth!! Got myself a can of Motul Chain Lube also, still need to get the chain cleaner though!

Another place is Cherry Agencies, near J.C. Road. If you come from the road where you have to turn right for J.C. Road, carry on straight past the signal. You will find Nandhini Palace on your right a little ahead. Right next to it is Cherry Agencies. Go upstairs for oil. They are the main distributors for Motul products in Bangalore.

Yup, changed to the Avenger coil (by the way, you have to use the Avenger 180 coil, not the 200. The 180 coil is a direct fit), if this is not done, then the bulb only gets 35w worth of power, so it will not operate at maximum efficency. And also, there is a definite lag in switching on the light and switching between low and high beams if the NB is used on the stock coil.

I paid Rs. 780 for the oil. And no, I highly doubt PBK would have changed the oil, so I just changed it myself. The Chain lube was Rs. 460.

              • HID's cost 4 to 5 Grand. IMO it's not really required, Osram NB does a damn good job. Besides, fitting an HID is not a straight forward process, you have to get the right kit and convert the bike's electricals to DC (correct me if I'm wrong about this).

And also, using an HID for high beam is illegal in India. I say, go for a NB if you want more light. Very easy fitting (including coil) and excellent lighting.

The Motul, according to me invites grimes and dust which then sticks onto the chain. Moreover, it is really expensive and it lasts hardly 7-8 times of normal usage.

The which I have got is a 1 litre can and just costs Rs.190/-. Damn good value for the buck, I say.
Castrol 90 grade oil is a gearbox/differential oil right ?? an also

The bike will try to stall when you crack open the throttle because too much fuel into the cylinder will try choke the mixture from charging/combusting properly, the re-jet should take care of that, you can do it at any proper mech. the guy i used to do with was no good so there's no use recommending him to others
                            Hi Friends,
Can you please suggest me the the size of Re-Jeting/Up Jeting. I have installed K&N R1100 for my p200. Will this be a solution for my sensor blinking??. Also let me knw wher i can do this in Chennai if posi with price plz....

@Praji: Do what thaker1985 has suggested. It really works well.

Well, I got my P200 serviced today, at 17,070kms. Apart from the regular maintenance, which includes the engine oil flush and subsequent change, air-filter change, drive chain maintenance, etc., two things needed to be changed (and ofcourse I got them changed):
                                1. Timing chain, chain tensioner.
                                2. Clutch plates.

The bike is running really smooth post these changes. The pick-up has significantly improved and the machine, overall feels like butter! But, I am actually a little disappointed with Bajaj's part quality. On the Classic 180 Pulsar, my first set of clutch plates were changed at 56,000kms. while the timing chain was changed at a whopping 80,000 odd kms. mark!

And JUST 17,000 kms. old, the P200 already have consumed these parts! The technician who serviced my P200 said that I am one of the very few whose timing chain and clutch plates are being changed at 17k mark; there have been instances where people have got it changed at 5k mark even!
                                :)
