Thanks dual. I will be more excited to put in the bigger forks of the 220 with that chassis. The steering cone arrangement requires the 220 chassis so that it can house the whole fork assembly. I really find the forks pretty pissing off the way it pits on the 200 sometimes.Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostThanks Aryan for ur comments!!!! The disc is not fitted in an 200's swing arm, but of a 220's one. I got the entire swing arm, rear sets, disc, calipers, caliper mount & master cylinder of a 220's and it's just plug and play. The entire thing costed me around 13k including painting!!!
regarding the chain tensioner, there is a small roller that carries the chain weight from down and tightens it via a spring as the slack comes down!!! This is around 200 bucks man!!!
I feel these guys have considered the weight of the bike but totally forgot the front heavy characteristics of the 200. In the case of 220, the bike is not really front heavy so the suspension is nice n chunky on the 220 and very rarely pits. As for the 200, you sometimes have to be careful going into small bumps if the suspension is loaded. You have to actually let go off the brakes and unload the suspension before going into a hump.
Maybe I should just forget the rear discs and I'm wondering if the Avengers front disc can be fit in or maybe dual front discs. Should be about 3.5k for fitting one more set of discs. I don't know if we need two oil reservoirs.
Guys, how do you think the 200 would look with the TVS FX Champion headlights and speedo? Anything close to the Yamaha XJR1300? Personally, I hate the front fairing of the Pulsars, all of them including the 220's. So I would love to give the 200 full naked looks and the FX Champion has a really njice big round headlamps, nice pods too. Your comments are appreciated.sigpic

Nice idea with the meatier front forks, if possible and not too expensive I'd say go for it.Originally posted by silver_falcon_46 View Post

Isnt the stock braking enough? And if the fork is not designed to hold the calipers how will you install double discs? I hope you don't intend on welding a stay for the calipers on the other side?_________________________

Hey silver Falcon, why don't you give a chance to Fz's head light assembly??? I think it should look good, if fixed properly and will look a lot more meaner!! Btw. if u have plans of dual discs at the front, may be u have to change ur profile name to "DUAL FRONT DISC 200"Originally posted by silver_falcon_46 View PostThanks dual. Stock braking is a struggle most of the time man. The rear drums are pretty useless. Useful below 40kmph. Moreover with all that weight transferred on the front, the discs are kinda overloaded compared to a 220. Its not bad , but better braking will do so much better. I just remembered that even the front calipers require welding. Many guys have actually done it but I'm not sure how. If it can be done in a neat way I guess it would be worth it. Especially with the full weight of the bike being transferred to the front during hard braking.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostNice idea with the meatier front forks, if possible and not too expensive I'd say go for it.

@dual: No man, not for the 200. The 200 is got older butch looks, a regular round headlamp would look way better. And I have no plans of changing my ID

@ above :your bike looks hot man..!..
coming back to the topic..
i recently got my p200 modified...
"what happens when a red beast meets a wild black jungle"
this thread has it all..
the problem i am facing now is that i am trying to check my bike's top speed after the mod..because i personally feel that after the mod it has gone on a bit lower side of the pick up...it might be psychological....
but anyways..
yesterday, i could manage a 110 at 9rpm...
today...i managed 115, full throttle plus rpm a bit above than 9...
i will try to post a video soon of the speed+rpm thing..!...
i guess; the pick-up plus the top-end has suffered..!..
can this be because of worn out clutch-plates....?

PS---my bike is 18.2k and 2 years old fully stock when comes to engine and other performance parts....!..
also, i never ripped my bike before the modification..!...used to ride between 60-80kmph with short boosts of 90 and 100....never went beyond 105 during that period.....

@ radioactive...pretty good and neat MOD thr.
Guys need some suggestion.I am planning to put the two piece handle on my P200.The guy is quoting 950 for the whole assembly exclusive of the fitting and all.
Can somebody tell me the pro's and con's for the change...and what things i shud take care of,while doing the change.
Also for putting a Osram NB only the Avenger coil change is needed..any other change ??
