        • @Abhay: If not the PBK, then try Castrol Bike Zone, although I am not sure how competent they are when it comes to the P200/ P220.

Which PBK service center do you generally visit?

              Where do you put up??
I suggest you to go to okhla pbk rather than the karol bagh one...Its much better.
tell them all your problems and it will be definitely solved. Try get your bike done from PREM(mechanic).
Regarding you air filter choke query, you can clean with yourself with diesel or the PBK will clean it by default.
              Don't go for K & N...let it be a stock bike.
Regarding your noise issues, tell them about the issues in detail....

                        Hey dual,

Did you replace the chassis with the 220's? How exactly did you get the rear disc? I've always wanted better braking. Tell me about the chain tensioner, how does it exactly work. How can it change the tension automatically?

                        • @Dual Disc: That is one really well maintained P200. Real nice. I would also love to know how you got that rear disc fitted onto the existing swingarm of the P200!
                          :)

Thanks Aryan for ur comments!!!! The disc is not fitted in an 200's swing arm, but of a 220's one. I got the entire swing arm, rear sets, disc, calipers, caliper mount & master cylinder of a 220's and it's just plug and play. The entire thing costed me around 13k including painting!!!

regarding the chain tensioner, there is a small roller that carries the chain weight from down and tightens it via a spring as the slack comes down!!! This is around 200 bucks man!!!

                              • I went to a Bajaj spare parts dealer for a LH RVM. He told me the swingarm of the 200 and the 220 is the same.
Although I did not believe him at first, I checked out a parked 220 in my office parking. The swingarm is indeed the same. The disc caliper assembly is attached to the swingarm at two places: one at the rear axle and the other is attached a little ahead of the rear axle. Here it is welded to the swingarm.

The rear alloy of the 220 costs around 3900 or so. The spare parts chap said many people got the rear disc fitted to their bikes from him. He also said the total cost is ~ 10K. I really want to go for it but for the high $$s involved.

I'm still thinking about it. If I go ahead with it I'll post some detailed pics.
