It looks wierd at some angles and looks good at some. I prefer this to the stock fairing.. Brickbats anyone? Guess it is an aquired taste.
P200 looks awesome in round headlights!! Put them in ur bike and look the amount of heads turning

Regarding Clutch Plates it really depends on driving but normally it should last around 20k kms

I second that.. but the tank scoops spoil the whole look with round headlights. Anyways, here's my query.. Am using the same highway to office since 1 and a half years and I used to touch 125km/hr on that strech while coming back @ 4am.. but after an accident few months back I was riding without the speedometer and just recently i replaced it with the new white b/g speedo of new P200s.. and here the problem lies.. I just can't go beyond 119/120 km/h.. what could be the problem??

        OK.. technical question -
After how many kilometres (approximately) do the clutch plates usually need a replacement? Prior to buying the 200, I had heard things like Bajaj's clutches do not last. Got mine checked last weekend. They seem to be doing fine.
Anyone experiment with any kind of performance clutch plates here? Imported maal and all? Just curious of how serious does the performance trip on the 200 gets..

        Dude,
That really looks NAKED!!!! Ragarding the clutch plates, mine's clocked 22k kms and still running fine and i do rip often and i take care of her well too!! maybe thats why it's lasting long. Regarding the performance clutch plates, don't know about here, in Indonesia there are lots who have installed.

even electronic speedometers do have a tolerance of + or - 5kms..since you have changed it there could be some compatibility issues

                  • I m one of the 1st few guys to get the RED P200 in March 07. I have clocked only 13k kms till now as my total commute stretch is only 5 kms. I m very happy with my bike, though i envy the new P220 and was even thinkin abt gettin one but thanks to some good advise here at xbhp and some friends i m keepin my P200. Though i will be making some cosmetic changes and 1st of that will be removing the fairing and then some stickring job which will be decent enough. Any suggestion on this are most welcome. Will post the pic of my bike in a day or two.

@ akshaye11 nice bike man. I really liked the lil graphics. It might give me some inspiration. Could u post some more pics of it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the advice man but i m bored with its stock look so thats why i m goin for sticker job than paint as i can remove them if i dont like the looks of it. As for tweakin the engine we dont have good mechanics here out in Kullu-manali, so i wont risk goin to a mechanic here. And secondly i m pretty much satisfied with the bikes performance.

I do agree with u, but don't over do the sticker job as it will loose it's identity. Check my albums as i've done little mods!!! regarding performance mods, the simple things that u can do is to switch over to Motul 300v not now excatly and NGK plugs especially for ur place!!!

                          • Thanks mate. I was already planning to get motul 300v for the bike and i now will add the NGK plug to the list. And i m right away checkin ur albums. Hope i like the mods.

@dual disc 200 i surely wanted to have a rear disc and the clipons on my bike and as for the stickering job i will do kind of masking not the brand name stickring. Will post the pics as soon it is done. Could u pls tell me what were the expenses and what parts were needed & replaced for the rear disc and clipons. Thanks in advance.

                            • My P200 recently (about a couple of days back) completed 15,000 kms. on the odometer. It's been 11 months since I have had the beauty, and she has never, even once, let me down. I took her to quite a number of long and grueling trips during these 11 months, most notably the Spiti Ride (the worst of all).

Regular servicing is all she asks, and that is all I have provided her and she keeps churning out miles like anything. I, obviously love her and the capabilities that she possesses and has shown.

                              :)
