Now the tyre that come in 220 are soft compound tubeless while the older 220 and 200 have the normal tubeless tyres. The soft compound ones are better!!Originally posted by Veeral View PostBut both looks same 200's & 220's... wats the difference?
Try Michelin Sirac. Many have tried those on their 220 and it gives good results and good grip even while off roading.Originally posted by Veeral View PostThanks mate..like any specific model no.?????
should look good and better grip..........My thoughts...

Do you think R15's tyre will be able to manage the pulsar structure?Originally posted by CJ View PostIf looks does not matter then go for R15's tires.. One of the best available..Sticks onto the road like anything

Best would be to go for the same size. Also check out MRF Vyde. They have pretty good tread pattern and won't be hard to find.Originally posted by Veeral View Postokies thanks alot bros.. but i dont thing R15's tire would be a good idea...

i changed my tires to front perilli 100/80 and rear IRC 130/70 at 25000km.
perilli and IRC are awesome.A good mechanic will let u watch without charging u for it!
People are like motorcycles, each is customized a bit differently! :D

Yes.. R15 and P200's alloys are 17" so it wont be a problem at all.. Many xBHPians have done itOriginally posted by harshit.d View PostDo you think R15's tyre will be able to manage the pulsar structure?

R15 tire is the best in the league now! No doubts in it... Dont go for it if you care for looks more than handling !Originally posted by Veeral View Postokies thanks alot bros.. but i dont thing R15's tire would be a good idea...

P220's Soft compound is also a option...Its not good as R15's but yes the difference is huge when compared to Hard compound P220's tireAdverts here :D

handling is perfect!!cornering is more stable, more confidence to lean!Originally posted by harshit.d View PostHow is the handling after that?

i did not check the fuel efficiency but i dont think there is a huge difference!
i have gained on pick up, but lost top end, the max i can do now is 117 to 120!
braking is awesome.
IRC and perili are too good on dry road. donno about the wet(have to wait for rains)A good mechanic will let u watch without charging u for it!

Consider the fact that the R15's alloy was specifically designed for a 120kg payload bike and you're putting that on a bike that weighs 148~150 kgs, and will DEFINITELY have adverse effects on your handling!Originally posted by harshit.d View PostDo you think R15's tyre will be able to manage the pulsar structure?
I've got no idea about this so just out of curiosity..
EDIT: There's no doubt you're reducing the unsprung weight of your bike and may aid performance but in the long run it'll end up getting worn out or damaged badly even under normal riding conditions, because the stresses are beyond it's normal marginsLast edited by EL LOCO DIABLO; 03-27-2010, 12:30 PM.I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

I also kinda thought the same and wanted to know how correct it is.
Anyways how's your bike going?
Read this thread from the start and got to know about the thrashing your bike underwent and then again resurrected. My thoughts...

Baby's been back on the road for nearly a good year now knock wood, no reason for me to complain other than usual niggle here and there, and then before I got too comfortable with my bike had another crash on it, though hopefully this time saved it from any major structural damage. Though the bike is now sporting a few more scars. But somehow now I'm more attached to my bike than I ever was strangely.Originally posted by harshit.d View PostAnyways how's your bike going?
