        • Speaking of tyres, I have noticed that my front tire is almost bald while the rear tire is in great shape, good for another 10K I think.

Has this happened to any of you chaps? Going by logic the rear should wear out faster, right? Or is a 200 that front-heavy?

Yes 200 and 220 are front focussed bikes!

              • [QUOTE=harshit.d;391813]Simple steps to bring it alive again(Of course after you've put back the oils):-

                1. Press hold the clutch.
                2. Press the starter and raise the throttle a bit.
                3. Once the bike comes to life, pull on the choke and let it be on choke for a minute or so.
                4. After that ride your bike for 4-5km at slow speed around (25-30) to let the oils circulate.
                5. Then its all yours to rip it out

Yup you are rite... These instruction are also mentioned in the manual...

as for the 5th point, I gotta have some patience for it, because first i gotta get my bike serviced and THEN its all my to burn...

                        • repeated accidents on my p-200

                          Hi friends,

                          i have a pulsar 200 purchased in 2008.
last 6 months i have met with four accidents, three out of the four accidents are because of rear brake failure where my drums got jammed.
i want to know whether pulsar 200 has a rear brake problem?
the service is nothing great in bangalore usual list fork bend, handle bar, headlight, fairing, then service now my bike cost more than a lakh.
                          guys please help me out.

                          thank you.

Well the rear drums of a 200 are not too effective, and at high speeds they are nonexistent. But that is because a 200 is front-heavy and you are supposed to use the front disc most of the time.

I also have slipped a few times and mostly due to the sideways skidding of the bike on a rear drum lockup.
