What are the speedo readings that you get for each gear at 4k rpm?
Maybe with that we can get the info and then compare this with a 200 having black speedo to get the difference if any
Atleast there is someone who claims that the white speedo aint faulty..

As for the speedo reading that cant be done as of now i'm out of India, and probably fly back in the next week..

I was wondering whether did you actually compared the white and the black speedo p200... if you did was there any difference..

MAN how do you manage to get those figures..

i know that the riding style has a lot to do with mileage.. but i don't think that i ride so hardcore to get a mileage 30-33, inspite of using good oil.. And i have just clocked 6000 kms on it... what can possibly be wrong.. i am just fed up getting these figures...

      • ^^ i dont know why your average is that low..

here are my last records full tank to reserve..

        Past Records Fuel km's avg

        1 17.97Lts 733km 40.79 kmpl

        • well i get around 35~37kmpl if im riding like a hooligan...but on long highway runs and sedate city riding 40 kmpl is no prob !!

          • yea.. 35 is decent and usually my worst (when using the stock oil) and really bad stop go traffic riding was around 36..

but if someone says 30-32... i'd say it definitely needs a look up. It's just too low for this beauty of an all rounder

              • Does the oil has anything to do with the mileage... If yes then i think i gotta change my oil... My friends p200 runs on Valvoline 4t premium, and he says this oil performs alike Motul 5100 t, the average he gets is steady at 37-38...

So i was wondering does valvoline scores over motul 5100t..

And yeah is there a 500ml pouch available for 2 of these oils.. Because buying 2 cans costs a bomb on the pocket...

300V is good.the clutch shifts are smoother.and yeah the interval is 5000 but i change it at 4000. Ill be reverting back to semi because i really dont find that big a change thats worth 750 bucks(if you know what i mean)!!
its better to use mineral or semi and try to change it more often(my point of view).
yes i had the engine head leak but after i decarbonised(hope thats what it called) it stoped.

                    thanx.

                      • To resolve your white speedo vs black speedo doubts, I observed, as did others, that the white tacho has more speedo error compared to the black.

At the same speeds i.e bikes running side-by-side, the white background console shows a higher speed.

Guys lets do the fuel check here for once. Request all 200 owners to provide the following info:

                          Best Mileage:
                          Lowest Mileage:
                          Riding Style:
Mods (If any like changed engine oil, K&N or anything):

                          For me
                          Best Mileage: 46
                          Lowest Mileage: 42
Riding Style: Mixed (Sane, insane, crawling, moving)
Mods (If any like changed engine oil, K&N or anything): Kept the tyre pressure slightly higher. Didnt knew that it helped in better fuel efficiency but yes it made the ride a little less bumpy.!
                          Front: 28 (25 in manual)
                          Rear: 38 (35 in manual)
