Ahh cool, no probs dude, thanks! I can imagine your frustration though, tyres don't exactly come cheap!

great start buddy, you can always take inspiration from great modders like Chintu on what else could be removed and then subsiquently from Desideep on what part to be replaced or added...

Mines 54 at 4k rpm, first batch of 200's. Allthough once my tire pressure in the front was real low and it showed 57kmph at 4K rpm. i have had massive brake-binding issues right from day one. And it still continues. wat i fail to understand is when air pressure is low how is the binding less???

                • guys... i usually get around 35-39 kmpl mileage on my p200 when i fill up approx 4-5 litres of petrol during each visit to the petrol pump. my daily running is about 60 kms.. after going through quite a few posts about mileage, i decided to tank up my p200 to the brim on the hopes of getting a better mileage. to my surprise, my p200 gobbled up a whopping 18.5 litres of petrol !! (considering the bike was on reserve, i didnt bother much).. and it emptied at 883 kms before going into reserve... thats a phenomenal change in the mileage figures.. even if i consider 18 litres i still get around 49 kmpl. However, if i consider the tank capacity of 15 litres, i get a whopping 59 kmpl..
can anyone please enlighten on this huge difference!!

The tank can gobble more than 18l of fuel easily. So don't worry. I've seen the same with my 200. Initially i was also shocked like you but then i got to know.

and my bike knocks at 4k to 7 k rpm !! told pbk to adjust the afr he said he had done it but the prob still persists !!

so is the vibrations due to wrong afr ??

                      confused !!

my bike is 8 months old and done 8.5k km on the odo

My new 180 UG4, even that has serious headlight vibrations, so my guess, its normal.

Abso normal with pulsar, even when OVERDRIVE was testing a brand new 220-S it developed fairing vibes after few hundered kms..

You can add rubber to the mounts, (rubber taken from a used tube) and to the areas where the plastic of the fairing and dash meets, this will reduce the rattle.

This seems a case with all the pulsars even my Dads 135 has 8l mentioned in manual but easily drinks 12l..............seems bajaj needs a visit to weights and measured dept.

Its just that Bajaj specifies capicity not till the brim. And when we go to filling station asking for a tank full the person tends to fill the fuel till its visible near the tank brim and for pulsars its way more than the specified capacity!!!
