    For me
    Best Mileage: 46
    Lowest Mileage: 42
Riding Style: Mixed (Sane, insane, crawling, moving)
Mods (If any like changed engine oil, K&N or anything): Kept the tyre pressure slightly higher. Didnt knew that it helped in better fuel efficiency but yes it made the ride a little less bumpy.!
    Front: 28 (25 in manual)
    Rear: 38 (35 in manual)
dude!! rear @ 38... isnt it a bit too much..cuz when i read the tyre pressures recommended on the swingarm, it was 28 for front and 30 for rear..

      30 for rear???
I didn't read in the manual or swing arm. 25/35 were told by the person at pbk (i think he was some senior technician) who did the PDI for my bike (That's another adventure though!!!).

More over it was my first bike ever so didn't knew all the things to be taken care of.
I rode initially at 25/35 for couple of few months but the ride quality was not that good. Then once tried 28/38 and it was better for sure!!!
Though that's a different story that i had to travel almost 100km everyday for office!!
      My thoughts...

Hence i said it could be different factors involved, but on the safe side 15days too shouldnt cause it to drain.

The system was fitted at the Sai Service Bajaj centre in Phoenix Mills, Parel. But if you're far from Parel, you can check with their Andheri one.

Since I'm not too far from Parel, i get all my servicing done there.. and this system too was installed by them in about 10mins flat. No major wiring alterations & i didnt face any issues in the rain at all. So i can vouch for their work. Specifically i get my bike attended to by only one particular mechanic who's work is detailed and trustworthy, so much so that i dont give it to any of the other guys there.
Sai service bajaj at poenix mills, Parel... yeah i know that place.. and its not quite far from my place... but i heard that the mechs over there suck big time... so i am just afraid to get my bike serviced there... can you tell me the name of that particular mech, if you don't mind..

And yeah you forgot to mention the price of the blackcat... A friend of mine had one installed on his bike too, but the brand name was different, i dont exactly remember the name, he got that auto cop for 900 and fitting cost 100 bucks... it also had an ignition button on it, which i find is quite cool...But the sad part is that the sound thing went kapoot in the rain..

Ask for the mechanic called Salim. I've got my bike done only by him ever since the 2nd service when there was another moron who screwed up the tuning so bad.. i was having backfires on rolling downhill on idle that were as loud as popcorn popping in a cooker..

Salim is really really good and has a good hand at it. The supervisor's name is Santosh and he's nice and attentive too. It takes a while for them to know you, but once they do.. they always recognize u and will attend to you.

Infact i'm so familiar to them that they automatically keep my bike for Salim to attend to without me telling them & he himself knows that i will wait if i have to but only he will work on the bike. Many a times ive gone to them for minor cleaning & non scheduled (usually u need an appointment) maintenance (most recently was a clogged air filter) and they'd attend to me out of sync without charging me anything.

                    I agree.

-2/-3 to the spec on the rear improves grip & handling as far as i can feel & recommend.

+2/+3 could prolly improve mileage but i find it a bit too slippery at the rear & hesitant in cornering grip.

Yeah...Also considering sandy/muddy roads in india its not a safe bet cos the tyre will be skidding easily under little hard braking... Another point is P200 has to depend almost only on Front disc so it makes skidding much prone if the tyre is filled with lot of air !

Spot on. Atleast for the roads (whats left of them) in mumbai... this point is EXTREMELY valid.

Now thats what I call customer satisfaction... i'm glad to hear that...

I would now definitely get it done by salim...

yeah I know that you need an appointment to get a service done... by the way what is the number of sai service bajaj?... Is it open on sundays? because i'm gonna fly back on saturday, and from monday I wont get time for my bike.. so I was planning to get it serviced on this sunday..

And yeah you again failed to mention the price of the blackcat autocop.

                          Thanx for the info...

(considering the bike was on reserve, i didnt bother much).. and it emptied at 883 kms before going into reserve... thats a phenomenal change in the mileage figures.. even if i consider 18 litres i still get around 49 kmpl. However, if i consider the tank capacity of 15 litres, i get a whopping 59 kmpl..
can anyone please enlighten on this huge difference!!

If its a month start i always tank it up to brim.....My range comes around 700-720kms for FULL to RESERVE(15litres).
                            49kmpl r good figures bro.
But whenever i filled the tank it never went above 17.5 litres!!!!!....coz we know 0.5 litre is unusable n whole tank is of 18 litres.
