    • Is the 220's front forks compatible with the frame of the 200, i heard that the neck of the 220's frame to be slightly wider in dia than a 200.
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

@Suresh: A more viable and better option from Castrol with regards to the 20W50 rating would be the Castrol Active Xtra, which is a 20W50 oil meant for motorcycles, but it's availability is really a big issue. I used to use this on my P180 Classic, but these days I do not find this oil with any vendor, unfortunately.
        Thanks guys.....
I Switched to ActiveX now, after enjoying GTX!!! coz long term is the concern here......
I got it here in chennai...A Castrol wholesellar......
It had only 1 litre pack....i got two of them coz my P200 required 1.1 litres....preserved remaining for top ups......

Nope. Same frame. Same thickness/width. Just different forks and their assembly.

Sorry bro, I was unable to visit the spares dealer because of work this weekend. Price should be around 5k for the fork set. If its more than that, i may dump the idea , 220 fairing is already damn expensive .

            • today, I saw new P150 UG4 with clip-ons. I think bajaj have introduced clip-ons to P150 also.
Clip-ons were like cross between P135's and P220's
If P200 and P150 has same size forks, clip-ons should be a direct fit to P200 also

Symptoms of a broken/damaged cone set:
Accelerate, and brake. You hear a sound from the cone set. Also heard while riding over uneven surfaces. If you stop, hold the front brake and rock the bike back and forth, you can feel the front assembly rocking slightly, making the noise. The cone set could be loose, get it tightened first and if you hear the noise again then it means a broken cone set. Replacement costs ~1 K.

Front shock oil: That's the fork oil. Your left fork oil seal might be damaged or improperly seated due to which fork oil is leaking out. Take it to a svc center and get oil refilled, and fork seal fitted properly.

                          • Tyre Change

                            Hi Guys

I'm looking for a tyre change for the front as well as the rear. The front being 90/90~17 and the rear 120/80~17. At the moment I'm running the stock front and a MRF Vyde at the rear.

After going through the "Tyres" thread I liked the reviews of the Sirac by a few users. My query is, is it available in the stock size as a TL type?

                            Any suggestions for the front?

Besides, any shop in particular here in Pune I could check out?

Well something might have scraped against the seal sometime I guess. A pothole at high speeds should damage the alloy, or if it extends to the forks perhaps both forks should be affected. Anyway you know the repairs.

As for the cone set, first ask the PBK guys to tighten it and ride for 2-3 days. If the noise comes back then it means a replacement.
