I have used Motul once, quite some-time back on the P180 Classic. But, I find the Castrol 90 grade oil MUCH better than Motul. The Motul, according to me invites grimes and dust which then sticks onto the chain. Moreover, it is really expensive and it lasts hardly 7-8 times of normal usage.

The Castrol 90 grade oil which I have got is a 1 litre can and just costs Rs.190/-. Damn good value for the buck, I say.

              • Does any1 know.. if we can fit the R15 footpegs on the 200?? How much would be the cost??
Those people who tell you not to take chances
They are all missing on what life is about
You only live once so take hold of the chance

                • Has anyone got a rear disc fitted to their bike?
I personally feel the drum is not very effective...

Also, if I lock my rear brake, the bike skids sideways. Does that mean the wheel is out of alignment or do bikes ALWAYS skid sidewards?

Yes, the footpegs of the R15 are just too good. I love them, but I am not so sure whether they would fit or not. A direct fit is highly doubtful; probably some 'jugaad' can work, although that is also highly doubtful.

                    • ^somewhere I read(maybe this thread only) that they are a direct fit but one needs to find the exact nuts and bolts.

There is ALWAYS a catch, ain't it? Anyhow, if the exact nuts and bolts are arranged for, then it would really be a nice addition! I mean the R15 footpegs would look and function well for the P200!

Er... You'll have to find which notch it's on. If it's on the smallest notch, then it's on the hardest setting. If it's on the longest notch, then it's on the softest setting. There are totally 5 notches there.

I've seen a couple of 200s down here with the rear disc fit on, but it looks like a shabby job. I wouldn't recommend it, and yeah, we've already discussed this before.
As for the bike skidding sideways, well, yeah. Mine does skid sideways gradually when I use the rear brake sometimes. But then, you should be using your front brakes mostly. The rear+front is mostly for emergencies. When I use both together, I face to problem.

Not really. Your shoes/boots should have grooves/treads/whatever, and so will the footpegs.

welcome to the 200. over time you'll learn to love her for her shortcomings as much as you drool over her prowess and feel

she's like an exotic dancer.. loves to get her rear out of line at the slightest of chances, more so than other bikes i've ridden.. so yea.. its normal for the 200's

The sliding stops completely with R15 rear tyres and suspension set to the hardest. Doing this also stops the bike from sliding when accelerating out of a corner.
