      I got sick of people stealing my stickers. Now, my bike's buck naked. I have absolutely NO stickers on it.

          Bajaj must take some steps to improve the stickers quality...hope that the speculated new pulsar's have better adhesive's stuck on them so that it will make very hard to peel/steal although the chances for Bajaj to take steps are almost NIL

            Apart from that, you'd have to acknowledge the fact that in their attempts to peel off the stickers, the vandals will have left a mutilated piece on the tank that's only make it look uglier. A stronger adhesive will not hold things entirely in place, nor will it allow the entire sticker to peel off so easily. :P

                Stickers can still be taken off, even after laquer coating. But ya it gets a hell of a lot more difficult. But still possible for a determined street sob, with tons of time in his hand.
                And worse, it leaves a very nasty mark, much uglier than the glue marks. And it cant be removed with WD-40 either.

                Also laquer coat is expensive, not sure how many'd do that just to protect their stickers !!

                Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

                    How's your mileage after changing to R15's tyres, i hope its improved because of the lesser rolling resistance a thinner tyre offers, and how about your low and high speed stability? Are they the same/improved/decreased? Because if there is one thing i would like to compliment my stock tyres for it's the stabity it offers for those slow 1st/2nd gear crawls in traffic without bothering to put your foot down

                    Some pictures would really help

                            Top speed will take a beating big time!!!
                            The current top speed of 130 KPH is reached @ 9750 RPM
                            P200 Tyre - 120x80, i.e depth -> 120 x 0.8 = 96mm
                            FZ Tyre - 140x60, i.e depth -> 140 x 0.6 = 84mm

                            so change in profile -> 84/96 = 0.875 or

                            so top speed @ same 9750 RPM on FZ tyre will be 0.875 x 130 = 113.75KPH

                            so at any rpm the top speed is only 0.875 of the stock tyre

                            it can be fit on the stock rim, some one has already done this.
                            i suggest you to stick with the stock tyre size

                              I'm not sure of the mileage, have not checked yet. I have been getting a steady 40-42 on the stock tires.

                              Straight line stability is awesome. On stock tyre and soft setting the rear feels like its fluttering. This has completely stopped and feels awesomly stable.
                              Low speed stability is still good. But you will need to balance the bike a bit more.
                              The bike is a lot more easy to flick around now. Even at low speeds changing direction is a lot quicker now.
                              The biggest difference you will notice is the stability you get when leaning the bike. You can feel the rubber grip the road.

                                thanx...btw since the stock rim is not as wide a FZ's wont the tyre roll up increasing the height???
