I gave a thought about this N number of times.
With this sprocket mod you should get ~3% more top speed
So @9000 RPM instead of 126KPH you should be able to do 130KPH theoretically (for white tacho bikes) Or @9000 RPM instead of 120KPH you should be able to do 123-124KPH theoretically(for black tacho bikes).
There will be little less Noise Vibrations and Harshness (NVH).

If you dont want to spend on this, here is a sugession.
Catch hold of a P220 guy swap the rear sprocket with him for a day and do city and highway ride and see. If the P220 guy is happy with better acceleration he will surely change for the 200 sprocket at his next sprocket kit change. So its a win-win situation for both

Let us know if you do try it.

Anyone P220 owner in bangalore interested in swapping their rear sprocket for a day
    Thanks CSSK,
Will try to do something on this!!!

1.) Cone near the handle bar bolt. Life is about 10k.
2.) Cone is replaced along with the Fork oil at around 15k usually.Makes that weird noise from the handle bar main bolt when you brake as if the bolt is loose, signifying that its worn out.
3.) How's your chain sprocket doing? Mine was replaced at 17-18k.
      4.) Spark plugs. 10k
5.) My tapets were replaced twice. I dont know how yours is doing. Tappets usually get damaged due to continuous high revving. Not a problem with the 220's but quite common on the 200's. Some high speed cruising and you maybe prone to this damage. Its ok, its free for 5 years and unlimited warranty.
      6.) Oil filter cleaning.

Thats all I can think of. Why dont you check the manual too.

      Its a chimera...

Been there done that, only way out is to machine a custom one and that comes with its own set of issues.
Yup, I went on a hunt for Factory made ones too. Couldn't find it. The only way out was the 220 rear for the time being. We'll I actually found a decent one at JC Road. Did not have my bike so could not get it done immediately. They have a lot of machine made ones. The only problem is there is very little gap between the front sprocket and the casing. Its got to fit in there perfectly. Will get them and try them out.

Thanks for the merging Aryan. Was just about to do that

      • Finding/machining the correct fit is possible. What you will not get is the proper material for the sprocket.

Eg: the sprocket might be of a harder metal and thus wear out the chain faster, or it might be softer that means it itself will wear out faster!

Oops! Thats something I will know only after testing it. Any experiences of that sort with you or anyone else?

He's out of the country as far as I know. Don't mind the sprockets killing themselves, but wearing out the chain would be bad!

                Hey Mate,
I think the warranty is for only 2 years and not 5 if i'm right!!

Nope, check your manual. 2 years or 30K kms whichever is earlier for the full bike and 5 years unlimited warranty for the engine only.

Thanks for the link mate. I searched and this is what I got. CR9EIX. One small query. The same model will go on the left as well as the right?

For the P220 they have a separate Left and Right Plug.

The p220 has different sizes in both the sides according to Probiking the sizes are 4 & 6 respectively & 4 & 4 for P-200. So, CR9EiX on both sides is not a problem as i'm running on those for almost an year....

that clears up the lil confusion I had. Any difference once you got these? Performance or efficiency wise?

Performance wise, the acceleration became really smooth after running some 50 odd kms on those new plugs and also the top end was really pulsating and a smooth power delivery overall, and not to forget, cold starts are cake walks.....also added my K&N to it....head turner
