Start by ensuring:

1. That your clutch is adjusted right
2. Your gear shaft/pedal are well lubricated.

What is grade for Castrol Power 1 oil ??? Is it suitable for our bikes?

Get yourself the Motul 300V

Motul 300v is rather on the expensive side ... any other oil which is around 300rs

It s worth the money. U need not drain it for atleast 5k kms, makes the engine and gearshifts a lot smoother.

Go for the Motul 5100T semi-synth. Cost about 300-350! Is almost as good as 300V and lasts almost as long as 300V, complete VFM.

Else even the Valvoline Premium 4T is a decent semi-synth oil costs about 275/- IIRC. And is almost as good as 5100T.

@CJ, I expected you to have checked the clutch play... anyways, since you said you are using Castrol Power1 for the past 2500 KMs, please check the engine oil level & health once. During the past 2500 KMs if you's have ripped the bike or have gone on a long high speed ride then there is a chance that the oil might not have taken it well. As such, 2500 KMs is a service interval. Right?

BTW, I believe you should be able to get Valvoline and Veedol in Nellore. I saw a lot of boards there. Give them a try.

Will go for a service on monday mostly and will get all the things adjusted and will change the oil too

@ HydBiker ..Veedol is available but i dont think Semi-Synth's are available the normal mineral oils were available last time i checked there...willl check once again

hello friends tomorrow getting my first bike really I can't tell you my situation how happy I am !!!!!

It was all started 2 years back that i was asking for bike so my father told me to buy bike from my auncle how have AX-100 and modify it. Then my auncle said i am not selling this bike as i am using it from 21 years!!!!

Then again i have to use activa of my elder sister !!! after 6 month she got the job i was happy that now she will take activa too job and my parents will give me a bike for school !!!!but when she said that cab will be provided by the company again i was at the same stage!!!!!

now at the final of 12 that was my board xam i found one second hand r -15 for 75000rs but it was in delhi so i ask my father but he refuse the idea !!!!

After my xams over i ask my brother to find a good second hand bike !!!
so he found one that was an karizma that was of 2008 black model and only 2000 km run for rs 58000 . But my grandmother who take all decision of home so she said that don't puchase a seond hand bike !!!!!!!!! I will give u after ur result !!!! so again waiting start

But on 24:4:09 i was reading new paper and saw that on 27 there is
"akshay triti" which a very good day to purchase any thing so made my grandmother to purchase bike for me !!!! and she gave a cheque to my father without asking to him but still my father said that he is of still 17 and he don't have licence for riding bike !!! but who stand in front of
my grand mother !!! she said i want a bike for me on 27!!!!

so finally today i went to P.L motors with my father and deposit all documents
and will get my bike on 27 morning at 11 am

@akshaye ...same here...dude..i got p180 after a lot of hustle....pustle..i was having a calliber 115cc ....that byk got stolen man!! i really loved that byk...from that tiome i started the talk buying pulsar....no other bike....he was plannin to buy xcd 135 after 1 year..but no i refused..,..then he gave me three choice hunk,cbz extreeme,p150.....that day i went nto showroom to book hunk....coz p150 with silver looks pretty ordinary...i wanted p180 o p200......but i din't book hunk on that day ..i took the quotation and found that itz only 66k so went for bajaj to check out thhe rates,,,,and found that p150 is only 1.5k leess than p180...imediately i informed my father..and he said yes.....thats it..
n like ur family we(not me and my father) also follow religious rituals...booked it on"sanklat chaturti" .....m got my babe

^^^ some lovely and emotional moments there guys... I had to buy most of my stuff myself so I have missed that patafy daddy or granny things

congrats on your ride...ride safe with a good helmet and riding gloves and if possible a riding jacket.
200 is an awesome bike if you take care of her like a baby in her initial period. It's been 2 years and the bike still feels fresh.

BTW: you know all about how to take care of her and what all you have to use...
feel free to ask anything related to the bike and go through forums you may gain some knowledge about biking as well...

remember safety always comes first on a bike
