Yes you are 100% right, but like i said before companies these days are NOT concerned about their existing customers, because they (companies) know that making a 180 look like a 200 is not going to go well with it's existing customers, but are not seem to be bothered by it, because at the end of the day, only numbers matterOriginally posted by atulboss View PostSo what you want to say is that you are neutral on this issue. And most importantly you are much more concerned about the company policies in renovating the stupid pulsar ideas. I think you should think again.
Today, when we ride P200, there atleast 5/10 people who do care what that bike its? They respect and dream to have one. But I tell you what the future is going to be. A guy who purchases P180 and you having P200 will not create any curiosity among the people. I know what people will think on this issue; "Am I going to show my bike to the crowd or just ride it to my satisfaction or for my passion?"
I know the machine itself speak its difference but what about something different. What about that Bajaj launched bike segment "PROBIKING". Yar, what will be the difference between a bike that comes out from a normal showroom and a PROBIKING showroom. And if still you think, the company is making it much more "sleek and stylish", I think you are wrong. They are just ruining the passion of being different.
Thanks. LOLI'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

i drew a very simple analogy actually, with Mercedes Benz or BMW for example or for that matter even Honda.
Mercedes : Releases the all new S class and you love it and spend 90L for it.
a year later Mercedes says they're releasing a "new car" the C class thats a 99% replica on the external of the original S class that you bought and on the internal, they've not only upgraded a few components, they've gone ahead and given it significant upgrades in crucial areas like shocks/ride quality, forks/handling and other electrical systems upgrades. And they sell it at 70L
Making you just what exactly??.... A farkin idiot? for spending 90L on a "premium offering" which was what it was originally supposed to be.
Any company would protect a premium offering so that they know that wehn you buy a second product or replacement, you go back to them because you not only get good value for your product you also have a good ownership value.
But Bajaj have just resorted to cheap tricks and the tactics that so many mechanics on the roadside did before them by goin and modding an existing products exterior to reflect a premium one. Simply because they've found Yamaha actually doing something significant and eating into their pie.
Im just sick of this crap they did. But anyway, the bike has just not improved as time passed and now i've just lost any interest in its wayward handling

Problem with My P200
My front wheel seems to wobble but only when i ride on rough roads, PBK guy says its cuz the fork gets loose & is common among all P200. Have done the following checks:
-Wheel wearing unevenly
-Problem with alloy
-Problem with disk
-Bend in fork
none of these seem to be the problem.
I'm having trouble with the performance too ..poor pick up
top end only up to 100-105km/hr , where as i have done over 120km/hr in the past. Drops even more with pillion rider.
Please suggest how i can improve performance
Thanks in Advance

How good are your tyres now? If you had managed excess of 10K in a short span of 7 months, then your tyres must have taken a beating, check your bearings in the forks, also check for the alignment of the wheelsOriginally posted by Shibin View Posthave done 10000+ km in 7 months.I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

~insanebiker~
I have got all my 5 free services done on time. Last service @ 9200 Kms in April.
~EL LOCO~
The tyres are in good condition, I use my bike 38 approx Km per day, have gone for only 1 long ride 450 approx Km that’s about it.
The PBK guy says it’s a common problem with P200-220 bikes is this true?, but I got my fork tightened 3 times this month L.
Can this problem be solved if I replace the cone set?
Oh! N I’ve never crashed my bike.

Speedo reading flickring
Guys,
Suddenly, my bike speedo reading has started showing aribtary numbers,
most of the time, it show 0 only...sometimes looks like its working properly,
but again the number gets stuck..and then again start fluctuating and back to 0.
If Anyone of you had face this problem, then can you comment if this just some loose wiring problem or the speedo meter has gone bad..??
