kk..let me know the model no.!!Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostDude,
Good that u've understood. I've put K&N RC1060 with 180(forgot which model, as i have a lots of jets , will confirm u on that) jets and it works fine. Although the stock jet size is 110, the jet which i used is 117.3 which is bigger and allows more fuel to pass thru thus keeping the air fuel mix ratio clean.
and how is the milage??A good mechanic will let u watch without charging u for it!

Yes, abhijeet080808 is correct. It's classic 180 jet thats present in my carb! btw throttle response is just awesomeOriginally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View PostWhere did you get a 117.3? It does'nt sound like a factory jet, A 180 jet!! that's humongous, what every time you twisted the throttle two bars from the fuel gauge drops?

You need to weld a clamp right onto the neck of your frame in order to facilitate an 220's fairing frame (a small skeleton onto which the plastic sits), because the whole of the 220's front quarter panel is suspended only on the neck and no where elseOriginally posted by kriss View PostGuys... problem in balance
Hii,
from past many months, i am facing the issue with my bike balancing. i am not sure how to put it, but i don get the confidence when i dig my bike at curves....
At many instances,, the bike fumbles as my hands doesn't seem to get the handle right or exact in position. there's been handle play issue and i had shown it to bajaj but thry are sayin, 100% of it can't be removed.
frm two days this thing is surfacing more.. the tyre pressure seem to be fine,,,although i willl get it checked,,, but isn't there any mechanic or system to get all the play removed from FORK and HANDLE or mayne swingarm. so that i can get the handle positioning right...Right now it seeem to be turned towards right....
Also recently i chked the top end,,, max its going is 117
.... is there one stop shop to get it all corrected.. i don wana sell my bike but wat to dooo
Only thing Gods envy of mortals is that they ride.

"........................there's been handle play issue......................................the play removed from FORK and HANDLE or mayne swingarm................................."
Could you elaborate on this issue with your handle bar and fork you seem to be having? Is it lack of play or more of it? Did you have a crash previously when you had to repair or replace any one these parts you seem to be having problems with, now?
EDIT:
How a 200 handles a Corner
200's generally are not very good handlers, if you don't have a forceful hand on it, the bike tends to under-steer a lot, I've experienced this first hand, you hit a corner at first you brake to bring the bike "onto" it's front but the suspension is too soft so it bounces back almost immediately, therefore you need to act quick if you are flicking it into the apex, and through mid-corner the suspension grounds and bobs front and back added to this the bike tries to run wide, and therefore the steering feedback is negative and is as though the bike is not responding to the riders input, and powering out from a corner is tricky because if the grip is in lacking you could possibly kick out your tail and I'm sure this part every poor 200 soul here had experienced that at least onceLast edited by EL LOCO DIABLO; 06-16-2009, 08:56 AM.I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

hmmm,, that info is handy and i agree to some bit of it... but that problem was not that bad,, like when i had a crash,, i got evrything repaired. that way months back.. i noticed the handle was not streight.. like if you want your bike to go streight you have to bend your right arm a bit...After showing it again and again,,i got it reduced but never removed.,, now i got a chance to get tit serviced in bajaj service camp. there they removed this play i don knw which setting. i got the balance back and i started more of cornerring.. but then after servicing from CBZ guys, thy asked me to replace teh CONE SET as its making noise (according to them) trusting them i got that done but to my frustatiosn the handle was again back to old place
..shown so many places,... no solution.. i don't know if the fork is OUT.. or anyother PART. but only know that my hands are not in same horizontal...also i got my tyre air chekd up it was low byt 2Psi.. i got it up. not this thing is reduced but not gone... i am not able to run into cornners the way i was able to when that problem was not there.
