    • reserve capacity

Hey all, I have a query regarding the reserve capacity of the p200.
To put it bluntly, how much is it? The manual has a couple of figures quoted - available reserve and usable reserve, if I remember correct. What is the difference between the two? I want to know the exact amount of fuel that remains in the fuel tank once it hits reserve.

2L is what u've got in your bike to keep it running after hitting reserve, that the usable reserve.

I think you've got another 800 ml - 1L stuck in the tank corners , which cannot be used due to the shape of the tank & placement of the fuel outlet on the tank.

So out of the 3L in the reserve tank (total reserve) you can use only 2L after which the bike basically runs out of fuel ...unless ur prepared to tilt it over like a Chetak scooter for a few xtra kms !!!!

from past many months, i am facing the issue with my bike balancing. i am not sure how to put it, but i don get the confidence when i dig my bike at curves....

At many instances,, the bike fumbles as my hands doesn't seem to get the handle right or exact in position. there's been handle play issue and i had shown it to bajaj but thry are sayin, 100% of it can't be removed.

frm two days this thing is surfacing more.. the tyre pressure seem to be fine,,,although i willl get it checked,,, but isn't there any mechanic or system to get all the play removed from FORK and HANDLE or mayne swingarm. so that i can get the handle positioning right...Right now it seeem to be turned towards right....

Also recently i chked the top end,,, max its going is 117.... is there one stop shop to get it all corrected.. i don wana sell my bike but wat to dooo

welcome to the bane of every 200 owner. Almost everyone of us here are experiencing the exact same deterioration in handling. If you read a few posts back or even a few of my earlier posts, i've been complaining about the sudden loss in handling and cornering stability. Its the exact same problem with the balance that i have yet to get fixed.

The service guys have no fkin clue on whats causing it. Everytime they bring up the issue of the fork and i tell them they've already checked it thrice! yet the bike just sways. Im begining to doubt the rubbers as well as the damn Tee joint, yet there are so many aspects i need to get it checked i've decided to just sell her off.

This is why im mighty pissed with Bajaj. They're only bothered about sales figures and not after sales service and value. they've just not bothered to bring about any customer satisfaction let alone upgrades or improvement to the product.

          • Big thanks for that! It might be an exaggeration to say that the query has been keeping me up at night but I've wanted to know this for a long time.
And I would've gone the chetak way had I known that worked the last time I ran out of fuel. Had to push the bike a good 2 kms!

            • Set the rear shocks at their stiffest. It comes default with softest. This helps the rear not to bottom out while cornoring.
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

              • The stiffest setting means sore backs too...not pretty suitable for Indian roads

                • Also a stiffer setting means faster wear out of the springs and dampers, and there is a likely chance of the panels to start rattling due to heavy vibrations being transferred to the body
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

I just checked the manual. The figures are 2L of usable reserve, 3.2L of actual reserve and 15L full. That leaves a whole 1.2L of fuel in the tank once the bike "runs out of fuel". That does seem a bit odd. Can anyone else confirm this?
And given that full is 15L, with reserve of 3.2L, does that mean the total capacity is 18.2L?

                      nope that 3.2 L is included in 15 L

How much did you pay for the chain sprocket kit?

Btw, even the company sells Rolon Chain sprocket kits only!
