    When you're on that seat for 5 hours at a stretch, or have ridden through some really bad roads for an extended period of time, or have done a 1000km dash....only then you would know how bad the seat is.

    On long rides its only the bum that goes sore (thanks to the 'seat'), rest everything is pretty much Ok!

    But if a long ride means doing 300kms on smooth roads in 8-12 hours...then yeah the seat won't bother you too much!

      Hi Guys,

      I am planning to have following mods in my P200 machine.Please advice and share your expirience..and suggestions as well,

      PERFORMANCE MOD

      1) Quick Throttle --> Quick Throttle reduces the amount of travel needed to completely open up the throttle, allowing the rider to accelerate with less wrist movement.

      price -- 550 Rs

      2) NGK Irdium Spark Plug

      price -- 550 Rs

      3) Nissin Rear Brake Master Cylinder

      PRICE -- 1800

      PAINT MOD

      I have a red pulsar..so planning to have either yellow-black stripes OR Silver black stripes from Tank to the Tail.

        Hi Folks,

        My P200 has completed a year now on the 28th of March. The reading as of this morning is 17,900 KMs. The entire one year has been a one hell of a pleasant ride with a couple of long hauls. Everything is still stock and factory fitted. No major parts replaced besides the rear brake liners. Everything runs like a dream and am loving every moment of it !

        Ohh forgot to mention I'm running a MRF Zapper Vyde on the rear now. The factory fitted rear made me real nervous!

          are u going to put spit fire cables as well along with iridium???
          heard there will b no much difference if u change only the plugs(correct me if im wrong)
          A good mechanic will let u watch without charging u for it!

            Will have to ask the same from dealer...that guy is a bit pro on modding

              Partially agree, but 5hours in one stretch means you have problems on almost all bikes dont you? Maybe a lil less on the Bullets?

              Is it possible to install rear brakes without too much hassle?

                  So you agree that seats can be better....

                  Ride a Apache for 5 hours and Ride a ZMA for 5 hours....check only bum fitness after each, if there isn't a difference then well...what to say!

                    I read some pages back (or somewhere else perhaps) that some people have got their 200 converted to DC wiring like the 220. Can anyone please tell me where this can be done in Bangalore and how much would it cost?

                          from thane, actually wanted to get a 4200k, but in this one the low beam is a 80w halogen, so for that i had to connect it directly to the battery.
                          my high beam is a 4200k HID...sweeeEt

                            HAS ANYONE COME ACROSS A NEW CAM TENSIONER FOR THE NEW SET OF P-200????

                            I HAVE A 200 BLOCK PISTON AND A 180UG3 HEAD, ALTHOUGH I HAVE PUT IN A 200 CAM TENSIONER CHAIN SET, ITS STILL FALLING SHORT AND MAKING A STRANGE NOISE DURING IDLING.

                            PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW IF SUCH A "NEW CAM TENSIONER EXISTS" OR IF YOU ARE AWARE OF 1.

                                Totally agree seats could be better . No comments about Apache, but the Zma should be more comfortable than the 200 seats, yet , 5 hours can hurt quite a bit irrespective of the bikes.

                                Anybody installed good quality clip ons your 200? Anyone with the 220 Clipons on the 200?
