One of my cousin brother owns avenger 200cc. He is presently in banglore for mba course. No one in his family is using his avvy. He insist me to use his bike till he returns from banglore(maybe around 1 1/2 years). I can maintain the bike from being rusted for at-least two years.

Q 1: How is the avvy behaves in city traffic? Especially maneuverability.

Q 2: What will be the service cost for regular service?

Q 3: After riding the dio for these years, will the avvy supports me?

    My height: 5.10.
    My weight: 75 kg.
My daily commute distance is 40-42 km.

Please tell me should i get his avvy for city use?

EDIT: Got the vehicle today from my brother.
Bike is very good in terms of comfort.. I guess this bike would be good for you.
As in Mileage.. I have 220 CC motor and last mileage i got was 43kmpl.. which seems good to me.
The only disadvantage on the bike is the traffic.. It kills the bike speed. it is not very agile and also you might have to wait on signals instead of passing from small gaps..
Other than that.. bike is really great.. and I am really happy with it.

Need help with a good Bajaj Service Center in Hyderabad

Can anyone help me in suggesting a GOOD service center (Bajaj authorized or any other also) in Hyderabad to get the Bajaj Avenger 200 serviced.
I have acceleration issues (Revs a lot but doesn't go fast), ride is hard & chain needs to be changed, vibrates a lot after crossing 80 KMPH mark

        Thanks in advance...

Lights - Avenger has the best lighting possible. If you want to upgrade, use Osram NB or Phillips.
Shocks - Adjust the stiffness to 3rd level and it should be good. You can try the thunderbird's chrome shocks with little modification
Sidebag - Many leather bags available. I feel they are difficult to maintain. Instead fit a side box from aerostar or so which is easy on maintenance and provides more space.

              Hi everybody,
              just got this wonderful machine.
I need some guidance about having puncture resistant liquid ( OKO ) in the tyres.
The person at the showroom was all in praise of it.
              Thanks in advance.

It is a good tire puncture sealant but it's most suitable for tubeless tires. Even though it might arrest the air leakage on tubed tires, that is not is true purpose. Unless u have tubeless tires, I would not recommend this sealant since it's of little use otherwise.

ADDENDUM @gifted : this also may be of interest to u http://www.ride-on.com/
dont know where u r located at but some guys in colaba, mumbai offer this treatment for 800/- per tire. i recollect a post related to this by one of the n250 / n300 owners elsewhere on this forum!

You should get the item at Bajaj spares itself or better at any Shell fuel refill station.

Pros & Cons of having Alloy wheel on cruise bike ? (My current tyres are 130/90-15 MRF Zapper-Y Rare, 100/80-17 Michelin Pilot Sporty )

Find them with tyre dealer ?

Personally, alloy wheels on Avenger is not attractive. I am sorry to disappoint you with such response but it is a fact. While procuring the alloy wheels might be difficult you can use tubeless tyres in it. If you have money to be spent, let me know and I'll give other ideas.
