    Hello everyone,

Well, I have decided to go for rear set foot pegs for dazzler.
Got the following from hero moto Hunk -

Actually I was looking for black colored brackets but couldn't source them, so got these instead.
This brake lever looks a lot better than the stock stone-age type make lever. Will update after the installation process is over.

Before buying you should have seen that it is direct fit or not ...

Of course, I have already checked the fittings & discussed in detail with a mechanic before buying those parts. Actually, I am behind this project for last 2-3 months.
It is not a direct fit, there is some jugaad involved in this fitting. I will share all this info with pics after my installation process is done.

Regarding rear sets.. here in the phil there is one set that is compatible with our dazzler, its from a moped from Suzuki, model Raider 150. see the images above

The below is the Dazzler with the not so the same set, but has the same holes to fit in. But it's meant for the above suzuki..

If my memory serves me right, the rear sets of the ZMA, Hunk, CBZ-X, Uncorn etc are swappable. Some one had already done something similar on the CB Unicorn.

Well, they might be easily swappable if it had drum brakes but not in case of disc brakes.
I have faced one problem during installation. The brackets which I got from Hunk are the ones meant for drum brakes only, so I am not able to fit them as there is no provision in that bracket for mounting the following disc brake assembly -

Actually before buying this, I had told the Hero moto dealer that I need disc brake version Hunk's bracket but he said both are similar.
So now I am trying to source the bracket which is meant for rear disc braked version hunk but currently its not available in my city. Rather many dealers are not even aware that there are two types of different brackets as they look exactly similar.
So this project is on hold for a while. I will update as soon as I manage to source the required part.

The ball bearings were rusted along with the components in the picture
The cone set cost me Rs.356
After changing the cone set the handle feels much better and no clicking or kat kat sound while braking

The pics are taken after cleaning the components

Could you please let us know the inner diameter, outer diameter & height of the cone set bearings, when I replace mine would like to go for the roller type rather than the stock ball type. Where do you get your bike serviced?

You may opt for SKF make cone set bearings. I guess the once which are meant for hh glamour are suitable for dazzler(but not sure). They are lot better than the stock cone set bearings.

I would want to replace the stock ball type with roller type. The image attached is of the roller type I have installed on my CBR, the CBR also has the same type of bearing used on the dazzler or platina ! It makes a world of difference in the quality of handling. The other issue is when we replace these bearings, they use the normal potato grease which looses all greasing properties in a couple of months what is needed is water resistant graphite or a lithium based grease.
A quality bearing with proper lubrication would need adjustment just once post installation and should go on for years & years (at least 10). Here whenever there is a complaint during the warranty period they just keep tightening & loosening the cone set on each alternate occasion. Post warranty they urge you to replace it again in 4 months we are back to where we started and just learn to live with the situation, it is a very unfortunate situation for us as riders.

From your initial pictures it seemed that both the top & bottom bearings are of the same size, can you please confirm.
In your post with the sizes, the first picture is of the inner race here it is the ID of 26 which matters, the second picture is of he outer race here it is the OD of 50 which matters. However thickness will be measured with inner race - balls - outer race configuration.

the size 26x47x15 could be used in Honda motorcycles, what you have indicated seems 26x50x15

The cost for the CBR stock type was 1190 and the roller type cost me about 1500

The bearings available in the open market are of ID 25, here Honda has tried to have a monopoly in spares and sized it to 26.
